✨It is important to surround ourselves with people who uplift and support us. One-sided relationships can drain us both emotionally and mentally and it’s not fair to constantly give without receiving. It’s time to let go of toxic friendships and normalize the idea of friends becoming associates. This doesn’t mean that we have to completely cut off these people from our lives (you be the judge of that), but rather acknowledge that the friendship may no longer be serving us in a positive way. It’s okay to prioritize our own well-being and surround ourselves with people who bring joy and positivity into our lives. Remember, true friendships are built on reciprocity: mutual respect, support, and love.

Here at Ahava we believe Love is the root of All things Great! AHAVA is the Hebraic word for LOVE. The word "love" which is so loosely expressed in the English Language, has a special meaning in Hebrew. Ahava is made of three basic Hebrew letters; these three letters are broken into a two letter root. The meaning of the two letter base is "to give" & "love". Making the connection that love is giving. Giving is a method we use to make a connection with another. Giving is a condition that creates and sustains Love. Genuine giving authenticates true relationships. Here at Ahava, we build our Counselor-Client relationships on the foundation of Love.
