Spring Has Sprung as they say here in South Texas! The buds on the trees are blooming, the flowers are peeking out, and the sun-shined warm days have returned! So this Sunday I thought would be a great time to get into garden clean-up mode! While we think about the actual garden clean-up - we need supplies to do so! So this would also be a great time to go through your as well!
Take some time this week to look through your garden shed, closet, or box (wherever you store that stuff) and sift through it. Clean all your pruning shears, wash your gloves, sort through your bug control, and look at your seed supplies - what needs to go, what needs to be replaced, and what needs to get used up first? Maybe it's time to bust out the label maker and organize your seed packets in jars or bags or if you're not going to use them - who could you pass them off to? Then get to it - go clean up that garden and watch the fruits of your labor grow!
For me this year we are in the process of moving, so not many new plants will be added. However, the ones I have need good pruning, soil refresh, and love - so I will do that. I love giving cuttings away too - so close friends prepare - babies coming your way!
Happy decluttering ;)
