My heart is full and overjoyed after being in the room with such an amazing team of women who desire nothing more than to love God wholeheartedly and love people into the kingdom!

Such a beautiful reminder for me that strength isn’t just physical — it’s spiritual and relational too. 💪❤️

POV: Progress isn’t always about how you look on the outside 👀 …

but I’m grateful for that definition FINALLY peeking through in my arms. 🙌

But the real flex is how I feel!!

And this is simply a reflection of small, consistent choices I have committed to honor God with my health:

🌱 Choosing real, nourishing food—even when it feels easier to grab something quick.

😴 Giving my body rest—even when life feels too busy to slow down.

💧 Drinking water instead of running on caffeine.

🙏 Leaning on God’s strength when motivation feels low and habits feel hard.

That’s what true progress looks like—
an inside-out transformation.

And for me, every choice matters so I can have the

🫶🏼Energy to love my family well.
🫶🏼Confidence to step into my calling.
🫶🏼Resilience when life gets heavy.

My beautiful daughter…

I didn’t know how much I needed you
until you were in my arms…

And now that you’re 18,
I’m having a really hard time learning to let go.

But I am so grateful our God is so gracious…

He’s healed so many hurts.

And guided us into such a sweet and fun relationship.

I love watching shows with you,
Braiding your hair
And hearing all about your day.

I love how you laugh,
And how you get my humor too.

I love your witty jokes
And how emotionally intelligent you are.

But more than anything,
I love your heart for others…
To make them feel seen and heard and accepted no matter their differences.

If you’re doing everything right -
eating clean, training hard, and managing stress -

but still struggling with fat loss, there’s one major factor you might be overlooking…

🚨 The gift of sleep — God’s design for rest.

Most of us think of sleep as just “down time,” but Scripture reminds us that rest is a blessing from the Lord:
“In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for He grants sleep to those He loves.” (Psalm 127:2)

Sleep isn’t wasted time. It’s one of the most powerful tools God gave our bodies to restore, heal, and even burn fat.

When we neglect this gift, it throws our metabolism off, heightens cravings, and makes progress feel impossible.

But here’s the good news — God’s mercies are new every morning, and with a few intentional shifts, you can honor Him with your rest and see transformation in your body.

•••for me, I have been intentionally tracking my sleep and last night was not as good as nights before…

And I realized the biggest difference was I worked on my laptop later in the evening the previous nights.

So testing this out tonight to see how it impacts my numbers…

🍽️ Last week we wrapped up training camp with one of my favorite traditions—
our TEAM MEAL!

There’s something so special about gathering to fellowship and feast after weeks of hard work together.

Being a coach and a coach’s wife isn’t just about the X’s and O’s or the wins and losses.

For us, it’s our purpose and ministry 🫶🏼.

Every meal shared,
every late-night conversation,
every word of encouragement—
it’s about pouring into these young men as souls, not just players.

We believe God placed us here to build more than strong athletes…
to help build strong character, faith, and brotherhood.

Football may be the game, but the table—that’s where family happens.

That’s where seeds of purpose and belonging are planted.

So grateful for this community, for our team, and for the chance to serve in this unique season. 🏈

I know how challenging it can be to get to bed on time with our busy schedules! 😴

Like right now- I’m having to workout in the evenings and that’s a huge adjustment for my normal routine!

But here’s the truth: sometimes our “busyness” is just time we’re not using intentionally. These things aren’t all bad, but when they steal from our purpose and rest, they aren’t serving us.

> So this week, I have had to get really honest with how I prioritize my time so I am not neglecting what and WHO matters most!

And last night I actually got some GOOD REST!!

👉🏼 Let’s get practical. What are YOUR time wasters?

• Social media scrolling
• Emails piling up
• Perfectionism
• TV bingeing
• Too-long “to do” lists
• Fear or worry
• Lack of planning / indecisiveness
• Daydreaming
• Distractions at home or work
• Clutter
• Comparison
• (Your own: _______)

✨ CHALLENGE: Pick ONE time waster and commit to reducing or eliminating it so you can:

* Get to bed on time
* Hit 6–8 hours of quality sleep
* Wake up refreshed and ready for your purpose

Simple? ✅
Easy? Not always—but every intentional step brings you closer to consistent rest and more energy for what truly matters.
