The mission of AAC Studio is to advocate for parents to take a leading role in their child’s AAC journey, empowering families to feel confident, informed, and supported every step of the way. In addition to providing general AAC guidance, AAC Studio is specially equipped to work with Profoundly Autistic or Intellectually Disabled learners of all ages who have complex communication needs.
Education and training specific to SVO Power ©2011 can be obtained as needed, along with opportunities to trial different types of low, mid, and high-tech AAC systems and see them in action.
The CODE Program (Communicate, Observe, Decode, and Engage) is housed under AAC Studio and is designed for children, teens, and adults with varying support needs. Online, group and 1:1, classes enable participants to build friendships, gain confidence, and develop skills that enhance communication and their quality of life. Additionally, the CODE Program supports twice-exceptional (2e) learners, individuals who demonstrate exceptional abilities while also navigating learning or developmental differences. The goal of the CODE Program is to empower learners to thrive, honor their unique strengths and differences, and achieve positive outcomes into adulthood. Free trial options are available. All ages and support needs are welcome.
Beyond the services described, AAC Studio serves as a community resource, offering guidance, education, and support. Contact for possible volunteer, virtual, or community collaborations.
