I do work with wonderful people. I do love what I do. This is such a great affirmation because it can show us things about our situation that we’d like to change, but it can also be a prompt for gratitude. I am grateful for my clients and the work I do every day. I am grateful I get to help people become more healthy, learn how to eat healthier and think more positively.
When we shift our thinking we are able to attract the things that we do want. Insead of the things that we don’t want. The Universe doesn’t care. We are emotional beings living in an emotional Universe. The Universe doesn’t judge what we think and feel. It just gives us more of it. When we think about positive things and feel positive things we attract more of those things. When we think negatively, then start feeling negatively, we attract more negativity. It is quite simple really. The trick is shifting from the negative to the positive. The trick is processing the things quickly so that we don’t get stuck in the negativity. How do we do that?
When we are having a negative thought, recognize it. Start to pay attention to what thoughts you have and where they go. How do you feel when you are thinking those thoughts? One of the most powerful images I have is when I was feeling really bad about something and talking to my partner about it, he took a picture of me and showed it to me. He said, “Look at yourself, see what you look like right now?” I looked terrified in the picture. This helped me to see my feelings and shift my mood quicker than if I had not seen myself like that.
Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror while you were sad, upset or scared? It may allow you to see yourself from a different perspective.
You are important. You matter. You are loved.
