Yesterday’s Bio Check at Porsche River Oaks was such a grounded, productive morning, but as I’ve been reflecting on it, one word keeps coming to mind: Brave.

Showing up to a 3D body scanner, testing your grip strength, and stepping onto those scales in a room full of people is no small feat. It requires a certain level of vulnerability to look directly at your own data and say, "Okay, this is where I am starting."

To the women who joined us: Thank you for leaning into that. Seeing you throw yourselves into the process, and the conversations that followed, was the absolute highlight for me. You took the information and turned it into action, which is exactly why Greyline Collective exists.

A huge thank you to our expert practitioners and educators. Your knowledge provided the context these women needed to move forward with confidence. You didn't just give them numbers; you gave them a roadmap.

I’m so grateful to everyone who played a part in making this event happen. Here’s to more mornings of clear data, strong community, and the courage to keep showing up for ourselves.

A very special thank you to my good friend Jackie Bachmeier of Evolution Fitness & Wellness who provided the STYKU 3D body scanner and scales for grip strength, balance and body plus the amazing duo Melissa and Margie!

Also my heartfelt gratitude to my beautiful fit friend Lesley Goodman who was a champ leading women through the different assessments!

There are so many wonderful friends to thank--here's a complete list of educators and practitioners that guided us through the event, plus a sample copy of the Bio Check workbook: https://www.greylinecollective.com/events/

Please join us for our next event! Sign up at greylinecollective.com to be a part of this growing community.

Tomorrow is the day! We are so excited to welcome you to Midlife + Menopause Bio Check Saturday, March 28th at The Podium @ Porsche River Oaks (4007B Greenbriar Dr). Come any time 10am to 12pm for a morning of discovery, data, and the best kind of company.

Instead of a formal seminar, think of this as your own Saturday morning session with all the experts in hormones, wellness and fitness at your fingertips! You can grab a latte at The Podium and ask any question you might have about your body, brain, and spirit!

Step onto the Styku 3D scanner or the Omron scale to get a fascinating look at the numbers that could matter for your longevity. In one quick visit, you’ll unlock a full map of your body, from bone mass and lean muscle estimates to visceral fat levels and your overall "Bio-Age" ranking. Talk with nutritionists about "brain food" and mental health expert guides who understand the importance of community and conversation. It’s a quick, eye-opening way to kick off your weekend with real insights you can actually use.

Come as you are, stay for ten minutes or the full two hours. We can't wait to see you there!

We are just a few days away from our Greyline Collective Midlife + Menopause Bio Check gathering this Saturday, 3/28/26, 10am-12pm at the Podium @ Porsche River Oaks (4007B Greenbriar Dr) and I wanted to be very direct about why this specific morning is so unique.

If you’ve looked into private wellness assessments or specialized midlife health conferences lately, you know that they aren't just hard to find—they are expensive. Many organizations might charge hundreds of dollars for the level of "Bio-Check" data and expert access we are providing this weekend.

This entire experience is free for you.

The hardest part of my job as a founder was coordinating this specific group of experts to be in one room, at one time, exclusively for us. These specialists are coming to solely help you navigate your health.

The Expertise: This is your chance to get answers to those "is this normal?" questions.

The Bio-Check: You’ll walk through assessment stations designed to give you a clear picture of your own health patterns, data that normally costs a premium to access. (To access our 3D body scans please wear form-fitting clothes)

The Community: You’ll be surrounded by women who are exactly where you are. There is a specific kind of power in networking with others who understand the nuances of midlife wellness.

Take the first step toward clarity. Join us this Saturday, March 28th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Podium @ Porsche River Oaks.

I walked into an AI ethics event, hosted by Maiven Collective and Google, at SXSW expecting to feel a little out of place. You know the room, young, technical, fast-moving.

But here’s what surprised me: I wasn’t the oldest person there.
Not even close.

There were midlife women in the room, engaged, sharp, asking some of the most thoughtful questions. And it made something very clear:
We’ve been quietly told that technology isn’t “for us.”
That we’re late. That we missed it.
Not true.

This moment, AI, health, data, isn’t just about code. It’s about judgment. Context. Lived experience. If we’re not in these rooms, we’re not part of the conversation shaping what comes next, especially in women’s health and longevity.

You don’t need to be technical.
You just need to show up.
Be curious.
Ask questions.

Be in the room.

This is exactly why we created Greyline Collective: to make sure you’re not navigating this next chapter alone, and that you have a place to learn, connect, and step into what’s next with confidence.

If you’ve been thinking, “I should probably understand this better”… this is your moment.

Join us in a room designed for you.

Saturday, March 28, 10am-12pm at The Podium @ Porsche River Oaks for Midlife + Menopause Bio Check.

Come meet the experts, ask your questions, and be part of the conversation shaping what’s next.

04/03/2026

For a long time, I operated on autopilot. I hit the gym, chose the salad, and wrote off my loss of hair and weight gain as the "dues" of midlife. I told myself I was handling it, but the truth was I was just guessing. I was applying a ten-year-old wellness strategy to a body that had fundamentally changed its operating system.

I finally realized that "toughing it out" wasn't a plan, it was a distraction. I decided to trade my growing anxiety for a specific assignment. I didn't want more vague advice; I wanted a roadmap. But in the crowded world of "hormonal health," where do you even find the starting line?

I discovered that the most powerful way to demystify this transition is to move from isolation to inquiry. I needed my own data, but I also needed a "brain trust" of other women. I wanted to sit in a room and ask: How are you actually fueling for muscle mass? What did your doctor say about these labs? How are you staying resilient when the hormones shift?

This is the heartbeat of the BIO CHECK. It’s more than a series of tests; it’s a curated experience designed to pull you out of the "Google-search spiral" and into a conversation with world-class experts and a community of women in the exact same foxhole.

Seeing your metrics, whether it’s the visceral fat levels on the Omron scale or the objective power of your grip strength, is a wake-up call in the best way possible. It transforms a "vague feeling of being off" into a concrete baseline. It proves that feeling "okay" isn't the goal; being functionally unstoppable for the next thirty years is.

Here is why you need to step into this circle:

Crowdsource the Solution: We often suffer in private, thinking our symptoms are personal failings. When you engage with this community, you realize you aren’t "broken," you’re just in a biological pivot that requires a new set of tools.

Access to Guides: This event bridges the gap between raw data and real-life application. You’ll have the chance to ask the "why" behind your numbers with professionals who understand exactly how declining estrogen rewrite the rules of your biology.

From Mystery to Mastery: Knowing your numbers isn’t about a grade; it’s about a boundary. It gives you the power to stop wondering what’s happening and start deciding what you’re going to do about it.

Stop guessing and start governing your own health. Join us for the BIO CHECK event on Sat. March 28, 10am–12pm at The Podium @ Porsche River Oaks (4007B Greenbriar Drive).

Claim your baseline, find your assignment, and meet the community of women who are ready to turn midlife into their most resilient season yet.

Greyline Collective is a community-led organization that brings midlife women together to share real experiences, learn what works and support one another through menopause and beyond.

You are everyone’s "First Call."

The kids, the board, the team, the friends—you are the strategist, the fixer, and the steady hand. You’ve spent years building a life that looks incredible from the outside. But lately, even the things you love feel like a heavy lift.

You keep looking for the "reason." Is it hormones? Is it the job? Is it just the age?

Here’s the truth we don't say out loud: You don't need another "to-do" list or a better supplement routine. You need a room where you aren't the one in charge.

At Greyline Collective, our "Bio-Check" isn't about clinical data points. It’s about checking the vital signs of your spirit. You know you’re hitting a wall when:

You feel "lonely" in a room full of people who love you.

The things that used to ignite you now just feel like obligations.

You’ve forgotten what your own voice sounds like when it isn't solving a problem.

We’ve been told that "Self-Care" is a solo sport: a bath, a walk, a meditation app. But biology tells a different story. We heal in the presence of others. Our nervous systems literally find their "center" when we are surrounded by women who share our frequency.

Community is the antidote to the "grey." When we gather at Porsche River Oaks on March 28th, think of it as a way to get back into our bodies and realize that the weight we’ve been carrying is much lighter when it's shared.

There is so much hope in a shared experience. You aren't "losing your edge," you’re just ready for a new kind of fuel.

Let's find it together.

20/02/2026

For a long time, I felt like I was doing everything right. I stayed active, ate well, and navigated the usual menopause symptoms like sleep disruptions and hot flashes, thinking I had a handle on things. But then those symptoms started becoming disruptions and I realized that I was just fooling myself.

I, like many of you, decided that enough was enough and that I really needed to trade in my anxiety for an assignment. My goal was to stop complaining and start getting better. So what's the best way to start?

Recently, I sat down with April Coker at Core Theory Fitness for a deep dive into my musculoskeletal integrity. I went in expecting a gold star, but what I found was a wake-up call.

April measured things I hadn't even considered. She showed me where my body was compensating, where my internal "bodyguard" (estrogen) had stepped down, and where I was actually losing ground without even realizing it. Seeing those numbers was an eye-opener. It was a moment of realizing that feeling fine isn't the same as being functionally resilient for the next thirty years.

But the best part? That data gave me peace of mind. Instead of worrying about a vague decline, I now have a roadmap. Knowing exactly where I stood helped me figure out my next course of action. It turned my anxiety into an assignment.

We talk so much about the surface symptoms of menopause, but we don't talk enough about our structural foundation. When estrogen levels drop, our muscles and bones lose their primary protector. This shift happens fast, and if we aren't tracking our functional markers, we can’t pivot our training to stay ahead of it.

Here is why you need to know your numbers right now:

The Balance Check: Estrogen receptors are located throughout your brain and inner ear. When they decline, your balance can drift. Testing your single-leg stability tells us if we need to re-train your neural pathways to keep you safe and mobile.

The Sit-to-Stand Power: This is the ultimate test of independence. It measures lower-body power, which for a menopausal woman is a direct reflection of metabolic health and the ability to maintain an active lifestyle for decades to come.

The 360-Core Test: We often focus on the abs we can see. But for longevity, the lean back and side-plank markers are more important. They tell us if your internal corset is balanced. If one side is weaker, your spine pays the price.

Knowing these numbers isn't about passing or failing—I certainly didn't pass everything at my visit with April! It’s about having a baseline so you can take back control of your biology.

Come to the free BIO CHECK event on Sat. March 28 10am-12pm at The Podium @ Porsche River Oaks. April will be there to help you get your numbers. It's the easiest way to take a step towards a solution and finding a community of women like you who are eager to learn and put that learning to good use.
