Jamie Nicole, Holistic Health + Autoimmune Strategist The Natural HEALing Coach empowers people to live NATURALLY through HEALTHY EATING and ACTIVE LIVING tips and recommendations.

I’m Jamie Nicole, Founder of The Natural HEALing Coach and The AIP BIPOC Network. As a certified AIP coach and advocate, I’m passionate about helping individuals with autoimmune diseases reclaim their health and thrive through holistic lifestyle changes. After being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease and navigating multiple autoimmune conditions, I understand firsthand the challenges that come wit

h chronic illness. Through my coaching, I guide clients on their journey to optimal wellness by focusing on movement, mindfulness, stress management, and diet. I believe that with the right tools, education, and support, everyone has the power to improve their quality of life—no matter where they are on their health journey. My goal is to empower others to advocate for themselves, find joy in movement, and embrace a more balanced lifestyle.

A lot of people dismiss AIP before they ever fully understand what it actually is.

Too restrictive.
Too overwhelming.
Impossible to sustain long term.

The New Autoimmune Protocol by Mickey Trescott officially releases today, and it reflects how much the approach to AIP has evolved over the years.

More flexibility. More practicality. More real-world application.

If AIP has ever felt intimidating or incompatible with your lifestyle, culture, or budget, I’d encourage you to take a closer look at this updated approach.

Osteoarthritis is often dismissed as just “getting older,” but for many people, it impacts mobility, pain levels, daily activities, and overall quality of life.

As someone living with both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, I know firsthand how complex and frustrating arthritis pain can be, especially when it affects multiple joints and different parts of daily life.

On Episode 153 of the Live Yes! With Arthritis podcast, I’m joined by orthopedic surgeon Dr. C. Benjamin Ma and physical therapist and researcher Dr. Elizabeth Wellsandt for a conversation about osteoarthritis, what’s happening in the joints, treatment options, movement, pain management, and the role physical activity can play in long-term joint health.

Dr. Ma brings both the surgical and sports medicine perspective, helping break down how osteoarthritis develops, when surgery may or may not be appropriate, and why staying active matters. Dr. Wellsandt shares insight on physical therapy, strength, mobility, and ways people can support joint function at different stages of OA.

Our work at the AIP BIPOC Network started in 2022, when conversations at the AIP Summit continued beyond the event and turned into ongoing roundtables centered on what BIPOC patients were experiencing. Those conversations grew into formal programming, and we became a nonprofit in 2023. We began with AIP (Autoimmune Protocol) as the core, and over time it became clear that food protocols alone could not solve what Access, Inclusion, and Prevention were failing to support. That is how our current dual framework developed.

• Barriers and patterns BIPOC patients are reporting
• How prevention is being interpreted in real settings
• Where AIP fits now within a broader equity context
• Ways to get involved in ABN’s work
