Everyone meet Freya!!

Freya is a 1 year old, female spayed Great Pyrenees in need of a foster or adopter! She is UTD on vaccines and heartworm/flea and tick prevention.

She is an oversized goofball who just wants to play! She has done well with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind our office cat. She is completely housetrained and is working on leash manners. She would love a huge field to run around in!

She doesn't quite understand that she is gigantic, so she would do best in a home without small children (we don't want them to get bulldozed by her 😂).

Please call the office or email if you are interested in adding her to your family. A small adoption fee will apply.

This sweet man is also looking for his forever home! We have named him Kevin. He is estimated to be around 5-7 years old. He has been recently neutered and vaccinated. He is very loving, and has done well with other dogs. Please call us at the office if you would like to come meet him!

She would do best in a high-energy home where she can be the center of attention and doesn't have to share her humans. We would greatly appreciate if you would please share this post. July 4th is next week!
This is a very stressful time for some of our patients and we want to make sure that our patients have the least stressful holiday possible. If your pet needs any anxiety med refills, please call early this week to ensure that we are able to get these to you by Monday.
This week is also a good time to make sure ID tags and microchips have the current information and that any fencing is secure.

April is National Heartworm Awareness Month ♥️

Heartworm disease is a serious and life threatening parasite that is transmitted by the bite of a mosquito. It primarily infects dogs, cats and ferrets.

Heartworms reside in the heart, lungs and associated blood vessels of affected pets. This can lead to lung disease, heart failure and damage to other organs in the body.

The good news is that heartworms are 100% preventable. As we always recommend heartworm prevention year round, with the warmer months coming up it is imperative that your pet is on something monthly to protect them from heartworms.
