Can we have some honest coffee shop conversation for a second?

I have some serious questions and I want to know how you feel about it as well.....

When did we start believing that feeling exhausted, gaining belly fat, and losing strength was just “part of getting older”?

Who decided that? Please tell me so I can go and have words!!

Because I refuse to accept that strong, capable women just slowly fade out in their 40s and 50s.

This is exactly why I built HER and the HER Restoration Protocol.

Not because women need harder workouts.
But because they need smarter structure.

If you’re in this season —
What has changed the most for you?
Energy?
Sleep?
Strength?
Confidence?

Talk to me. I truly want to know if this is just me or are you feeling it also!

Ladies...Let's have some fun today...

Let’s talk about something no one warned us about…

Why does strength feel harder in your 40s — even when you’re “doing everything right”?

Is it:
A) Hormones
B) Stress
C) Loss of muscle
D) All of the above

Drop your guess below 👇

Here’s what most women don’t realize:

During peri + postmenopause, we naturally lose muscle at a faster rate. Less muscle = slower metabolism, less stability, more fatigue.

So if you’re doing more cardio and eating less… but feeling softer and more tired?

It’s not you.
It’s the strategy.

This is exactly why I built HER Restoration Protocol™ around structured strength training — not random workouts.

Now tell me — what has changed the most for you in this season?
Energy?
Sleep?
Belly fat?
Recovery?

Let’s talk about it.

Ladies...Let’s address the elephant in the room.

You don’t fully recognize yourself right now.

Not just in the mirror…
but in your energy,
your patience,
your confidence,
your drive.

And that’s unsettling, especially for a woman who’s always been capable of achieving anything she puts her mind to..Am I right??

You didn’t suddenly lose discipline.
You didn’t stop caring.
You didn’t forget how to take care of yourself.

But somewhere in your late 30s or 40s… things shifted.

The weight sits differently.
Your sleep isn’t the same.
You wake up tired even when you “rested.”
Workouts that used to work… don’t.
You feel puffy. Inflamed. Off.

And maybe the hardest part?

You don’t feel fully at home in your own body anymore.

Can we talk about that?

Have you caught yourself being harder on yourself lately? I have!
Have you wondered why what used to work just… doesn’t? I have!
Have you felt embarrassed to even bring it up? Hell YES!
Have you quietly blamed yourself? Absolutely!!

What if this isn’t a willpower problem?

What if your body isn’t broken… it’s just asking for something different?

I remember looking in the mirror and thinking, “What is happening to me?”

Not dramatic. Just honest.

And I wish someone had told me:
This is a transition.
Not a failure.

So let me ask you something — and really sit with it:

When was the last time you felt strong in your body?
Not smaller. Not lighter. Strong.
When was the last time you trusted it?

You don’t have to answer publicly.

But you should answer it for yourself.

Because pretending this isn’t happening doesn’t make it easier.

And struggling alone definitely doesn’t make it better.

We can talk about this here.

Drop what your "hard" is below and lets talk

I’m going to say something I wish someone had said to me years ago. I know this might be long but it needs to be said...

There is NOTHING wrong with you!!

When I hit perimenopause, my body stopped responding the way it always had. I was training hard. I was eating well. I was disciplined. And yet… I felt softer, more inflamed, more exhausted.

It was frustrating to say the least and honestly A little scary if I am being completely honest!

No one was talking about what was actually happening.

So I started digging. I adjusted my training. I paid attention to recovery. I stopped trying to punish my body into shrinking and started learning how to support it instead.

That’s where The HER Restoration Protocol™ was born.

Not from a certification.
Not from a trend.
From lived experience.

The HER Restoration Protocol™ is a capacity-first, hormone-aware strength system for women 40+.

It’s built around three phases:

We Stabilize first.
We calm inflammation.
We rebuild joint integrity.
We lower systemic stress and restore foundational strength.

Then we Strengthen.
Progressive strength training focused on muscle retention.
Bone density support.
Metabolic resilience.
Smart intensity waves that challenge you without crushing you.

Then we Sustain.
Recovery-first programming.
Built-in deloads.
Hormone-aware adjustments.
Long-term strength that actually lasts.

HER stands for Hormone-aware. Empowered. Restored.

And that’s the promise.

We don’t push, punish, or overwhelm your body here.

We coach you through intentional strength training, recovery, and consistency so you can feel strong, capable, and confident again — not just in the gym, but in your everyday life.

This is not about getting skinny.

It’s about restoring trust in your body.
Building muscle that protects your hormones.
Having energy that lasts beyond your workout.
Feeling steady instead of inflamed.
Strong instead of frustrated.

Muscle is King and you absolutely need it to live this amazing life you are meant to live!
And strong is attractive!

If you’re 35+ and you’ve felt like your body changed and no one handed you a manual… I created one.

The HER Restoration Protocol™ is for women who are ready to train with purpose and commit to doing this the right way — not the exhausting way.

If that’s you, message me “HER” and let’s talk.

Your Hormones Changed. Your Training Should Too.

Somewhere in your late 30s… early 40s… something shifted.

The workouts that used to “work” don’t anymore.
The scale doesn’t move the same or at all
Your midsection feels different and you don't feel like it's you anymore
Recovery takes longer.
Energy dips harder- Hell lets be honest= some days it's non-existent

And no one talks about why.

Here’s the truth:

As estrogen and progesterone shift, your body becomes more sensitive to stress.

And high-intensity, go-hard-all-the-time workouts?

They’re stress.

Add that to:
• Career stress
• Family stress
• Sleep disruption
• Life stress

And your body doesn’t respond by burning fat.

It holds on.

It protects.

It slows things down.

That’s not failure.
That’s physiology.

HER trains differently.

We build muscle strategically — because muscle is what protects metabolism.

We program recovery — because cortisol management matters.

We stop chasing exhaustion — because hormones respond to safety and consistency.

This is the HER Restoration Method.

It’s not about doing less.
It’s about doing what works now.

If your body feels different… it is, and it will continue to change

And there’s nothing wrong with that.

You just need a smarter plan.

Message me “HER” and I’ll send you the details. Spots are filling.

HER Doesn’t Hustle. She Trains Smart and more aware

There was a season where “no days off” felt impressive.

Where being drenched in sweat meant it worked.

Where being sore for 3 days meant you did enough.

But HER doesn’t hustle anymore.

She’s not trying to survive her workouts.
She’s trying to build a body that supports her life.

At 40, 50, 60…

Smart looks like:
• Lifting with intention
• Protecting joints
• Prioritizing recovery
• Building muscle to support metabolism
• Leaving energized instead of exhausted

HER understands something powerful:

Burnout isn’t strength.
Punishment isn’t progress.
And more isn’t better.

Better is better, and understanding this is key

The HER Restoration Method was built for women who are done chasing skinny and ready to build strong — the right way.

If you’ve been feeling like your old approach just isn’t working anymore… it’s not you.

It’s the method.

And HER trains differently.

Spots are filling right now.
Message me “HER” and I’ll send you the details.

Can we talk about something personal for a minute?

Leaking when you jump.
Crossing your legs before you sneeze.
Avoiding certain movements because you’re not sure what might happen.
Pain during workouts that nobody else seems to be talking about.

If you’re 35+ and this has happened to you… I need you to hear this:

You are not broken.
You did not “ruin” your body.
And this is not just something you have to live with.

So many women think pelvic floor issues are just part of having kids.
Or part of getting older.
Or something you just deal with quietly.

That's BS !!

But here’s the truth I want you to know — there is support, there is training that helps, and there are ways to move that actually strengthen your body instead of making you feel worse.

And no… the answer isn’t to stop exercising.
And it’s not to just avoid jumping forever either.

It’s about learning how your body works now.
It’s about reconnecting to muscles that haven’t been coached properly in years.
It’s about building strength in a way that supports your core, your hips, your breathing, and your confidence.

I’ve had women whisper this to me after class.
In the hallway.
In the parking lot.

And almost every time, they say, “I thought I was the only one.”

You’re not.

If this is something you’ve experienced — even once — I’d love to open the conversation.

You don’t have to share details if you don’t want to.
You can just comment “me” or drop a ❤️ and know you’re not alone.

And if you’d rather message privately, that’s okay too.

Let’s normalize talking about this.
Let’s take away the shame.
Let’s start treating it like what it is — something we can work on.

You deserve to feel strong in your body again. 💛

Stop Trying to Outrun Your Hormones

Can we have a real conversation for a minute?

If you’re 35+ and doing more cardio hoping it will fix the weight gain… and it’s not working… there’s a reason. If you want to know what it is keep reading...

As estrogen declines, your body becomes less efficient at managing blood sugar and maintaining muscle mass. That shift alone changes how you respond to exercise.

Long steady cardio used to feel productive. It used to “lean you out.”

Now?

It often just leaves you more tired, more hungry, and no closer to where you want to be.

Exercise physiologist Dr. Stacy Sims has been talking about this for years — women are not small men, and our training needs shift significantly in midlife. Especially during perimenopause and menopause.

What protects your metabolism now isn’t more miles.

It’s muscle.

Heavy, intentional strength training:
• Preserves lean mass
• Improves insulin sensitivity
• Supports bone density
• Builds resilience

This isn’t about becoming a bodybuilder.

It’s about becoming harder to break.

If your body feels different lately, the answer isn’t pushing harder.

It’s training differently.

And once women understand that… everything changes.

If you’re ready to stop guessing and start building strength that actually supports this stage of life, let’s have that conversation.

Ladies I need you to hear this!!...

Your body is not betraying you I promise. It’s transitioning.

If you’re 35+ and thinking,
“Why does my body feel different?”
“Why am I gaining weight doing the same things I've done for years”
“Why am I exhausted even when I’m trying?”

You’re not crazy. And you’re definitely not broken.

Perimenopause and menopause change the hormonal environment in your body. Estrogen shifts. Recovery changes. Sleep gets disrupted. Stress tolerance gets lower. And suddenly the workouts that used to “work” just… don’t.

That doesn’t mean you need to try harder.
It means you need a different strategy.

This is the season where strength training becomes non-negotiable.

Not to shrink yourself.
Not to punish yourself.
But to build muscle that supports your metabolism, protects your bones, stabilizes your blood sugar, and keeps you capable for decades to come.

Muscle is not about looking strong.

It’s about staying strong when life asks more of you.-And we all know life ask MORE of us most days!!

If you’ve been feeling frustrated with your body lately, I want you to know there’s a path forward — and it doesn’t involve more cardio or eating less.

It involves training smarter.

And honoring the season you’re in.

Does any of this sound familiar?? If YES I would love to know what!
