BMI vs Body Fat % — let’s clear this up 👇
Because this question comes up all the time.
BMI (Body Mass Index):
• Only looks at height and weight
• Doesn’t know the difference between muscle and fat
• Two people can have the same BMI and look completely different
• Helpful as a general medical screening, not great for tracking real progress
Body Fat % (PBF):
• Shows what your weight is actually made of
• Helps explain why the scale might not change, but your clothes fit better
• Reflects changes from training, nutrition, sleep, and stress
• Gives context instead of confusion
Here’s what matters most ⬇️
We’re not trying to make you “lighter.”
We’re trying to make you stronger, healthier, and more confident in your body.
That means we care more about:
• muscle slowly increasing
• body fat gradually trending down
• energy, strength, and how you feel day to day
Numbers are tools—not labels.
They don’t define your effort or your worth.
If you’ve ever felt confused or frustrated by health metrics, you’re not alone. Progress isn’t perfection—it’s understanding and consistency.
If you have questions about your numbers, ask. That’s what we’re here for 💪
