"Adjacent segment disease and revisions after degenerative lumbar spinal fusion are common. In this cohort, suboptimal restoration of L4-S1 lordosis was associated with higher rates of adjacent segment disease and subsequent revisions, thus highlighting the importance of restoring sagittal alignment in degenerative spine surgery."
