Wellness Wednesday: Which behavioral activation activity would you choose?

Bake? or Bike?

P.S. if it requires an oven, it’s still baking.

A message from the dashboard….

My interpretation: Trip or Treat?

Are you going to keep tripping, stressing, pushing and doing the most or are you going to treat yourself to restorative rest, relaxation, and a much needed reset?

It’s time to depress the brake and take a break and then push the engine switch when you are ready to re-start!

Take a rest…

A couple weeks ago, we volunteered some time at the AMEN clinic. It was a joy to be a part of the collective efforts to address health disparities in my local community.

Today is World Mental Health Day! I think it can serve as a gentle reminder to do your annual mental health check up just like you do your annual physical health check up. Check in with yourself, with your provider, a trusted friend or your therapist today. Call us for a consultation regarding how we can support you on your journey to mental health wellness.

Today is World Mental Health Day. 🌎💙

It can be easy to feel alone in what you’re going through. It can be easy to think that no one gets it or that no one can help. But our experience as humans intersects the most at some of the heaviest and lightest points. As long as we’ve existed, we’ve felt grief, pain, and sadness that’s hard to explain. We’ve also felt hope, joy, and connection that transcend understanding. Throughout history and across the globe today, we’ve been learning to manage, cope, and live with these complex feelings. It may seem daunting, but there is comfort in knowing that what you’re going through doesn’t make you broken or weak. It makes you human, just like everyone else.

Today we think of every person around the world taking it breath by breath. If that’s you, please know that we see your effort. We’re proud of you.

We will always be here with support and resources. Check out our Mental Health Toolkit at mentalhealthtoolkit.co featuring worksheets, playlists, guided meditations, and everything in between.

Check out this fantastic read. It’s a guide for moms, caregivers, mentors, and educators who want to nurture confidence, belonging, and body-positive awareness. Who couldn’t use a healthy helping of that?

The Pregnancy After Loss Support for Parents support group provides connection for parents riding the emotional waves of pregnancy after a loss (early miscarriage, late miscarriage, stillbirth, early infant loss). Led by PSI-trained facilitators with lived experience, this group helps parents find support, as well as provides useful information and resources to help them navigate pregnancy after loss. Joy, fear, sadness and grieving are common during this time. In this group, you will meet others who can relate and support you during your new pregnancy. We are here to help.

This group is not for those trying to conceive or beginning to discuss pregnancy. In this specific group, the group is for individuals who are pregnant.

I was able to spend time with friends and support them at MomCon2025 this weekend. It was definitely refreshing. It provided a place to be seen, heard, and belong.

Remember, there is always time to tell your story. Make edits, rewrites, and reframes. We are here to listen and support. Reach out today.

You’re still becoming. Still growing. Still capable of wonder.

Wellness looks different for everyone. It’s not prescriptive. The weekend is a fine time to get additional wellness activities in, AND so is a well-intentioned 15 minute pause that you consistently schedule into your day. Intentionally instead of incidentally.

The Wanting

There weren’t many things in my life that I knew for sure. I didn’t declare my major in college until I was a senior. I was a “maybe” person and I had and still have a ton of interests. There was one thing, however, that I knew for sure and that was the fact that I wanted to work with women. I wasn’t sure how. Remember, I didn’t declare my major until I was a senior in college. I had to wait to see how God would unfold his divine plan for me. How would I work with women? In this space...Resilient Living.

I am grateful and honored to be able to offer this special space for women, who need support and a place to heal.
