This is 34. I can’t put into words how incredible this past year has been. From launching Track. Own. Empower., to exploring the wilderness with the love of my life. I’m the strongest I’ve ever been, both mentally and physically.

But don’t think this year didn’t come with challenges. It is with great sadness that I had to wish my beautiful Aunt Marge farewell, and watch my family endure the loss of another incredible matriarch. But with that loss we all grew closer as a family, and for that I couldn’t be more grateful.

A special thank you to the absolute love of my life, Nick for encouraging me and loving me (extra) during some difficult times. You are the reason I keep going every day, and I love you endlessly.

Thank you to all of the wonderful people at 8Well and Forever Fit for making my job the absolute dream that it is! I love each and every one of you! Here’s to 33, on to bigger and better!

“What are some ways of measuring progress other than seeing the number drop on the scale?”
Any fitness professional will tell you that the scale isn’t always the best tool to use when measuring your fitness goals. Sometimes the scale goes up but you still feel better in your clothes and physically see yourself getting smaller. Or maybe your goals aren’t even tied to body fat loss, maybe you want to increase strength. Whatever your goals may be, it’s so much more than a number on a scale.
