Waking up an hour early would be highly beneficial to your body.
First, it establishes discipline. Next, you can choose to study scripture for spiritual influence and wisdom. This also gives you time to exercise for your body transformation goals. Doing so allows for a slower start for your body which will create responses vs. reactions to situations throughout the day that can trigger your nervous system.
By focusing on responding vs. reacting your allowing your body to not undergo stress or heightened reactions which can be emotionally driven and overall weakens your immune system.
