Morgan Mays is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. With experience in both mental health counseling and addiction recovery, she specializes in supporting individuals facing depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. Morgan also volunteered with Postpartum Support International, where she gained hands-on knowledge in helping new mothers navigate postpartum depression and anxiety.

Seasonal Depression aka Seasonal Affective Disorder

This depression can be caused by the change of the season which can begin late fall (September/October). Symptoms are often associated with lack of energy, feeling sad, loss of pleasure in activities, increased sleeping and over eating.

Morgan Mays is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work, a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. With experience in both mental health counseling and addiction recovery, she specializes in supporting individuals facing depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
