And the Huntsville Pub Run count from Sam & Greg's was 59. After 235 runners the week prior 59 runners feels so small. But when you look at the weather conditions yesterday, I think 59 was a great number. We pretended we were kids, ran in the rain and had a blast.

Consistency is important. Probably one of the primary reasons the group has grown. Yesterday was run #468. In 9 1/2 years we have only had to cancel 17 times due to weather. Week in and week out you can count on us to show up.

And being surrounded and running with our friends make it all worthwhile.

We'll be at Big Ed's Pizza next week. Hope we see you there. Invite a friend or come and make one.

It's going to be a great day for the Pub Run.

We have to give a big shout out to Angello Karadzhinov. He joined us for some Pub Runs during his senior year at UAH and fit in instantly. Because he played soccer and had classes, Angello was not able to join every week, but despite his very full senior year he managed to run a Half Marathon and just completed St. Jude Rock 'n" Roll Nashville.

Here is a great article that highlights his brief but impactful time here in Huntsville.

If you see Angello at the Pub Run tonight or in the next few weeks please congratulate him.

Fiona Mayling, here is proof that Nigel Mayling and Raymond actually attended and ran the Huntsville Pub Run last night. We are starting to get used to have two Scotland representatives each week. Who's next?

Whole Foods Market Delivers Again

It was a beautiful night and 189+ showed up to run, walk and ruck. Super nice having some first timers join us, especially Dexter! Always nice welcoming back our friends Fiona and Nigel from Scotland.

It was nice being back in the Flatlands and the group showed their excitement by putting in some speedy work. I was afraid that Will Nevin was going so fast that his kilt might catch fire. With the 3 and 5 mile routes staying together for a 1.5 mile it made sense to release via pace.

Rumor has it their was an unofficial "aid station" on course. But I'm 100% sure that nobody took part, right🫣 And speaking about temptation, did anyone catch up and buy ice cream from the truck? I'm impressed if you did.

Post run Whole Foods Market did not let us down. I saw lots of pizzas, hot food items and cold beverages. I think they probably were working overtime to restock the coolers this morning.

Next week we return downtown to our friends at MELT. With outdoor space, cold beverages and cheesy goodness, it sounds like a great opportunity to invite some friends and co-workers. If you invite enough times you will eventually wear them down. Just don't tell them about the White/Echols combo. IYKYK

Some photos from our favorite clicker and some I "borrowed" from the posts I found. Thank you.

What an amazing night at InnerSpace Brewing Company. 210+ runners waited patiently and gathered to watch the Artemis II launch. Once Artemis took off, so did our runners. And returned to some incredible beers and moon snacks.

Congratulation to everyone in Huntsville that had a part in getting Artemis headed towards the moon.

See you at Whole Foods Market next week as we return to the flatlands.

Good luck to all our friends that are running Oak Barrel Half Marathon Saturday. See you in Lynchburg!
