Our Story

Texas Eye and Laser Center offers a wide range of eye care services, allowing our practice to cater to the needs of all our patients. Our experienced and compassionate doctors have the skills to help with all eye-related problems. We are committed to offering the most advanced testing and surgical equipment.

The surgeons at Texas Eye and Laser Center are among the most experienced and well-trained in the country. They have performed thousands of surgical and laser vision correction procedures. Dr. Brian Ranelle and Dr. Jerry Hu perform a range of eye surgeries in our AAAHC-accredited ambulatory surgery center, Texas Eye Surgery Center, which adjoins the main clinic.

Dr. Brian D. Ranelle has more than 40 years of refractive surgery experience. He specializes in cataract surgery, offering patients laser-assisted surgery options. Dr. Ranelle also performed the first LASIK procedure in Fort Worth in 1997. Since then, Dr. Ranelle has mastered every advancement in laser vision correction.

Dr. Jerry G. Hu specializes in cataract surgery, laser refractive surgery, and cornea surgery. Dr. Hu also pioneers the newest advances in eye surgery technology, including corneal cross-linking and premium IOLs.
