The Open Door Staff and Board of Directors are excited to announce our first ever Fall Family Festival scheduled for Saturday, October 11th on the grounds of Open Door Health Services. Come for food, fun, fellowship, and fundraising for the ministry of Open Door. This year this event will take the place of our annual fall fundraising banquet.

Because of your faithful support, Open Door has been serving women, men, children, and the preborn for the past 23 years.

Please make plans to join us on Saturday, October 11th from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Open Door located at 315 W. 1st Avenue in Hutchinson.

Open Door Health Services recently participated in a Day of Service coordinated by Kansans for Life. ODHS welcomed a great volunteer crew to help us assemble "swag bags" for multiple college campuses. Students at Hutchinson Community College and Pratt Community College will soon receive information on the services Open Door provides along with an assortment of beauty products graciously donated by BOLD. Our appreciation to those who took the time to help ODHS with this project. We also want to thank Kansans for Life and all they do to assist pregnancy resource centers across the state.

The abortion industry doesn’t empower women—it misleads them. They tell women not to bother taking a pregnancy test. They discourage ultrasounds that could reveal vital information—like gestational age or ectopic pregnancy risk. They actively try to block access to life-saving progesterone, which can reverse the abortion pill if taken in time. And they minimize or flat-out deny the emotional, physical, and spiritual aftermath many women experience after abortion. This isn't choice—it's manipulation.

Women deserve truth. They deserve real medical information, compassionate care, and the freedom to make informed decisions without pressure or fear. We are here to offer just that. Truth. Support. Hope. Because when women are fully informed and truly supported, they are empowered to choose LIFE. 💛

Open Door Health Services accepts donations of new baby items for our Helping Hands Boutique. The items in our boutique are provided to clients who are working through one of our programs. We also help with emergency supplies when needed. All of this is completely free of charge because of your generous donations.

We are currently running low on baby wash and lotion, diaper rash cream, and baby clothes. We especially need shorts and pants in sizes 3 to 6 months or 6 to 9 months for both girls and boys.
