Six years of Cult Skincare 🧁
I don’t have a big launch or a giveaway to share this year, just a really full heart and a lot of gratitude.
The world feels so heavy right now and I know being on social media can feel loud and overwhelming. If you’re tired, anxious, or just not sure how to show up online, you are not alone.
In the middle of all of that, you’ve still chosen to be here. You’ve booked appointments, referred your friends, bought gift cards, and trusted me with your skin and the pieces of your life you share in my treatment room. That is the only reason this little studio has made it six years and I don’t take a single bit of it for granted.
Thank you for letting Cult Skincare be a soft place to land. A spot where you can lay down, breathe, and feel cared for for a little while. Thank you for growing with me, learning with me, and letting this space evolve as life keeps changing.

Why my facials keep getting longer 🫧
I have been an esthetician for over 6 years and I’m always having to update my menu because my facials keep getting longer and longer. I see so much content in this industry about better control of your time, maximizing time, flipping your room in 15 minutes, and filling your schedule as tight as possible. It really had me feeling like that’s something I need to fix.
The truth is, my facials keep getting longer because I care about the experience. I don’t really care how long we are in here. My job is to give your skin what it needs and make sure you are getting the very most out of the service. I like to take my time. I hate feeling rushed. As you relax with your eyes closed, I want my energy to feel as calm as yours.
If you’re already a client of mine, you know sometimes we go over time, and you also know you never have to worry about whether I’m taking the absolute best care of you. If you’re a new client, just know you might be here a little longer than planned, but you can always tell me at the start if we’re on a time limit 🫶🏼

This is an esthetician page, but I’m a human first. I love my job and I love helping you feel safe in your skin, but skin is political when ICE is terrorizing people in theirs. I cannot talk about masks and moisturizers while ICE is brutalizing people. Silence is not neutral. We have to do better.

If you’re investing in your lashes, it’s worth looking at the ingredient list just like you do with your skincare. I use a system that relies on cysteamine instead of traditional thioglycolate and infuses the lashes with plant proteins, panthenol, biotin, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and amino acids to help strengthen and hydrate with each service. Proper prep softens the skin, increases circulation, and allows the pore to release more easily without being forced. The skin responds better, heals faster, and you avoid unnecessary redness, trauma, and lingering marks.

Social media can make extractions seem like something we should be doing every visit, especially with how popular extraction videos are online. A lot of what you see being removed should have been left alone, that level of pressure can easily lead to PIE or PIH, meaning lingering redness, pigmentation, or even scarring that lasts far longer than the blemish itself.

Extractions are only appropriate in certain cases and are often just a short term fix if the root cause is not addressed. This is also why at home extractions are risky. Without proper prep and technique, the damage is rarely worth it.

You can clearly see the demarcation where the peel was applied and how I carried it down the lymphs of her neck for drainage and detox💧This peel uses lactic and salicylic acids with antioxidant rich blueberries 🫐 to dissolve buildup and wake up circulation ✨ The flush you see is a healthy response as the skin shifts into renewal mode.
