Pay: $16–$21/hr. Immediate Openings Available

Express Medical Transportation is growing fast, and we're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers. If you take pride in helping others, are dependable, and enjoy being on the road, we want to meet you!

📍 Location: Based in Lee’s Summit, MO
💰 Pay: $16–$21 per hour (based on experience and shift availability)
📅 Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available. Flexible scheduling.

What You’ll Do:

-Safely operate wheelchair and stretcher vans to transport patients to and from medical facilities and residences

-Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle

-Ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout each trip

-Maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicle

-Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and facility staff

Requirements:

-Must be at least 23 years old

-Valid Missouri driver’s license with a clean driving record

-Able to pass a background check, DOT physical, and drug screen

-Excellent communication and customer service skills

-Professional, dependable, and patient-focused

-Prior experience in medical or transportation fields is a plus, but not required – we provide training!

-After you establish trust within the company you might be able to take the van home.

-Follows all traffic laws and standard safety practices, including but not limited to daily safety/maintenance checks, tying down wheelchairs, securing safety belts, driving at speeds that are legal & appropriate for the situation, assuring that patients always receive necessary supervision

We are seeking an enthusiastic non-medical transport driver to join our team. Must have Class E license, be 25 or older, be able to pass background and pre-employment drug screen. You will be responsible to be available for 8 hours a night 5-7 nights a week. General hours will be 9pm to 4am. You will pick up and transport clients from one location to another in a friendly and timely manner. This may include isolation/covid positive clients and or stetcher transports as needed. Must be fully vaccinated by October 22nd. CPR certification is required.
