⏰ Early Birds, I need your thoughts! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

I’m thinking about adding a 5:00 AM Run Club option on Mondays & Wednesdays. Perfect for those who want to get miles in before the day kicks off—especially now that school is back in session. 🌅

👉 To keep everyone safe in the dark, you’d need a headlamp and a high-visibility vest. I can look into ordering a group package of vests if there’s enough interest.

Don’t worry—we’ll still keep the 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM start times too!

📍 Here’s our route for Wednesday morning (about 1.8 miles — we can loop it for more distance)

🌟 Endurance Track Workout for Run Club! 🌟

Want to build lasting stamina for your next 5K or 10K? This track workout is all about steady pacing and endurance. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

When & Where:
5:30 or 6:00 AM
Meet at the track
🌙 5:30 crew — you may want to bring a headlamp!

Warm-Up (10 min)
1–2 laps easy jog
Dynamic drills: high knees, skips, lunges, butt kicks

Main Set:
3 × 800m at comfortably hard (~10K) pace, 200m jog recovery
2 × 1200m at moderate/tempo pace, 400m jog recovery
2 × 400m slightly faster than tempo pace, 200m walk/jog recovery

Cool Down:
1–2 laps easy jog
Stretch calves, hamstrings, quads, hips

💡 Tip: This workout is going to be hard and looks intimidating, but I promise — you are capable of so much more than you think! Focus on maintaining a steady pace for the longer laps.

Indee Run Club was started because working out alone isn’t always fun. We wanted a space where people could show up just as they are — no pace too slow, no distance too short — and find encouragement, movement, and maybe even a few laughs along the way.

🌅 Wednesday Morning Run Club 🌅

Tomorrow’s 2.8-mile route takes us along both sides of the river—nice and flat for an easy, midweek cruise! Perfect for runners and walkers of all paces.

📍 Start: Teachers park. Look for my Gray Tahoe
🕖 Time: 5:30 & 6 AM
📏 Elevation: Around 935 ft, almost no hills—your legs will thank you!
🌡 Weather: Low 70s, cloudy skies, light breeze. Chance of storms later, but we should be in the clear for the morning miles.

Grab your shoes, a buddy, and maybe a light layer. Let’s make this Wednesday morning count! 👟
