🌟 Saturday Run Club! 🌟

This week’s route is a 4-mile loop starting and ending at Independence JR/SR High School. We’ll head south toward Hwy 20, loop around by Walmart, and make our way back up through Bland Blvd. A nice mix of open stretches and town running!

⏰ Start time: 6:30 AM
(Originally I had said 7:00, but I’ve got another obligation at 8:00—so we’re bumping it up just a bit!)

📍 Meet at Independence JR/SR High School parking lot

Alright crew, here’s the plan for this week 👉 we’re heading out by Prairie Lakes / MHI for a fun little loop (about 2 miles, with plenty of spots to add on if you’re feeling it).

📍 Meet at High School parking lot
⏰ Roll out at 5:00, 5:30, or 6:00 AM

It’s still pretty dark in the mornings, so grab your headlamp + bright gear so we can all spot each other. 🌌

Come shake out the legs, get some fresh air, and start your Wednesday with friends. Drop what time you’re showing up in the comments—always more fun when we can link up! 🙌

🏃‍♀️ Saturday Run Club! 🏃‍♂️
This Saturday we’ll meet at St. Pat’s parking lot in Winthrop at 6:00am. Come ready to kick off the long weekend with some miles and good company! 🌅👟

📍 Route: About 2.6 miles through town (see map below). Easy to adjust for more or less mileage depending on how you feel.

✨ Reminder: With the long weekend ahead, we’ll take Monday off from Run Club. Use it as an active recovery day—walk, hike, bike, stretch, or do anything that keeps you moving. Your body will thank you! 💪🚴‍♀️🚶‍♂️

🔥 September Monthly Challenge: 45 Minutes of Planks 🔥

This month’s goal: accumulate 45 minutes of planks by the end of September. 🏋️‍♀️

Break it up however you like:

✅ Forearm plank

✅ Side plank

✅ Reverse plank

✅ Mix it up!

💡 How to Participate & Track:
1️⃣ Comment below saying you’re IN.
2️⃣ Log your plank minutes in Strava.
3️⃣ Keep going until you reach 45 minutes total.

🎁 Monthly Surprise: Everyone who completes the challenge will be entered in a drawing for a surprise!

Let’s plank it out together and see who comes out on top! 💪

Many people lose their range of motion in spinal flexibility due to a sedentary lifestyle or sitting for long periods of time hunched over at a desk or computer- causing a wide array of spinal and back issues. Twists are a great way for you to combat these common issues.

🌅 Morning Run Club 🌅

Here’s our route for tomorrow! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
Meet-up times: 5:00, 5:30, and 6:00 AM – pick the one that fits your schedule best.

📍 Route: Starting at the First United Methodist parking lot, we’ll loop across the river and through the SW side before circling back. A nice mix of straightaways and turns to keep things interesting.

✅ Bring your high-vis vest and headlamp (it’s still dark out early!)
✅ Track your miles in Strava so we can cheer each other on
✅ All paces welcome – come move your feet and start your day strong!

Meet us at the track tomorrow morning — choose your start time:

✨ 5:30am

No set distance, just you vs. the clock. Push yourself, count those laps, and let’s see what you’ve got!
