HAPPY HALLOWEEN hugs!!!

To help steer clear of sugary, pro-inflammatory Halloween calorie-rich-and-processed (acronym- CRAP) foods, here’s a delicious pumpkin spice smoothie recipe!

1 frozen banana, 1 cup soy milk, 1/2 cup cooked/canned pumpkin purée, 1 tablespoon date or maple syrup (or 2-3 dates), 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds, 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Blend until smooth, then sprinkle with nutmeg:)
