MM 45548 Massage therapy is one of the oldest forms of healing known to man. Very few healthcare modalities still hold weight the way massage does for over 5,000 years. Of course massage and bodywork has its limitations. Just like any healthcare modality, when used in conjunction with other healthcare professionals and proper healthcare autonomy, it's a complementary therapy that can benefit almost everyone. I’m Rebecca Freehill, licensed massage therapist, and founder of South Brevard Massage Therapy (formerly Healing Heart Massage and Wellness). My mission is to help empower people to live their best lives while free of pain and full of movement in an honest, educated, and intuitive way. I’ve been a massage therapist since 2013. I figured out really quick, for me to do my best for the people on my table would be to work for myself where my hands wouldn’t be tied to specific spa protocols. I went to college for massage therapy and received an associate degree in massage therapy because I wanted the best education possible for my initial training. I ended up doing double the state’s requirement for massage therapy education hours. I founded Healing Heart Massage and Wellness in late 2014 and since then, I’ve served over 1,000 Southern Brevard residents. As South Brevard’s expert in pain relief from massage and other body work tools; I have consistently increased the range of motion and decreased the pain of every person I’ve served. I bring a compassionate and intuitive education to my practice to make sure that you get everything you need out of your session with me. I’m a food healing instructor, level 1&2 Qigong instructor, 200-hour yoga instructor, CEU certified in multiple neuromuscular and myofascial courses, 2nd degree Reiki certified, and I have an arsenal of mind and body work tools to add to the massage therapy session. Nothing makes me happier than to bring relief to the people that I serve, and I devote my life to learning ways to give that to you!
