We are hiring a full-time Pharmacist!

Advance Care Pharmacy is a dual accredited pharmacy
(URAC and ACHC), providing home infusion, specialty, and non-sterile compounding services to residents of multiple states.

We are located in Indiana, Pennsylvania, with additional locations in Gilbertsville, PA and Hagerstown, MD; and are actively recruiting motivated, full-time pharmacists. This is a unique position and a great time to join our team as we are a rapidly growing pharmacy providing outstanding care and complex disease state management to patients. Pharmacists will have the opportunity for a significant role in comprehensive patient care, managing disease states, developing care plans, counseling patients, interacting with prescribers, and performing clinical interventions.
Pharmacists will also oversee compounding operations, both sterile and non-sterile.
Job responsibilities include:
• Provide comprehensive patient care
• Develop patient care plans
• Clinical interventions and disease state management
• Leading a team
• Verification of orders
• Maintain compliance with USP < 797> and accreditation standards
• Verify accuracy of filled prescriptions and related supplies
• Oversee pharmacy technicians
• Perform Drug Utilization Reviews
• Interact with prescribers and prescriber staff to build/maintain professional relationships and help grow the business
• Answer questions from nursing
• Resolve patient complaints as needed

Experience/Requirements:
• Must be self-motivated and willing to learn new areas of pharmacy practice
• Must have a valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license.
• Both retail and hospital experience preferred.
RPh and PharmD eligible.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Ability to multi-task for extended periods of time
• Must remain calm in stressful situations
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to stay on task despite interruptions
• Strong work ethic
• Problem solving ability
• Team player
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $59.00 - $62.50 per hour
