On Memorial Day, we honor those who gave their all in service to this country. We're grateful to have veterans on our team who carry that dedication into the care they provide every day.
Veterans like Jason Strejcek, Director of Operations at PurposeCare of Cleveland and US Navy Veteran, who knows first-hand that service people need a special kind of support—but they’re often the last to ask for it.
“As a veteran myself, I believe access to home care and home health services is extremely important because many veterans carry burdens that are not always visible.
Some are dealing with physical injuries, chronic health conditions, PTSD, or simply the effects of aging after years of service and sacrifice. Home care allows veterans to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while remaining in the comfort of their own homes.
It also provides critical support to family members who often take on the role of caregiver. Veterans spent part of their lives taking care of this country. Making sure they receive compassionate, reliable care when they need it is one of the ways we can honor that service in a meaningful way.”
This Memorial Day, we remember those we've lost, and recommit to honoring all who served through compassionate, reliable care.
