It’s not sexy, but the reality is a properly placed boundary will serve your physical and emotional health amazingly. The quote below I think sums it up so nicely. It’s from a self love journal that I have been loving filling out.

How do you make sure to have some boundaries in place?

I talk a little about how when I was on vacation I ate all the things I normally don’t and still lost a pound by the time I got home! It’s time for us to let go of diet culture where we are told restriction or making crazy complicated meals is the only way. It can be as simple as learning when our body is hungry and when we’ve had enough.

Diets don’t work. Restriction only makes you want it more. You learning what your body actually needs does work!

I just went on a week vacation. I ate everything I wanted. A lot of foods I normally don’t have as part of my regular food.

Do you know the shocker? I can home with having LOST a pound!! What?!

The key is I only ate when hungry and stopped at enough. This has been a skill I have been working on - to actually listen to my body.

How do you have an amazing vacation and not eat your way through it?! It’s all about letting coaching work for you! Learning how to process your feelings- the “good” and “bad” 😆 is needed and we teach that in our 12 week weight loss reset group coaching program for women.

It shouldn’t feel like a job to lose weight- it should feel like a way that you care for yourself. Its all about how we talk to ourselves and if the conversation is mean we won’t keep doing it.

You can start with asking questions like- what would it look life if I took great care of myself today? Then you act from that place. It rarely feels like work or a job when we done from that mental head space! ❤️
