🌏 Memories That Travel With Us 💕

One of our wonderful residents recently shared a special story with us after bringing in two adorable Mashimaro plush dolls 🐰During a trip to Korea to visit her very first grandchild, she came across these dolls while shopping and they instantly brought back a memory. She was reminded of an episode of M*A*S*H where a soldier was marrying a woman from Korea, beautifully dressed in a traditional outfit.

It’s amazing how something as simple as a plush doll can connect us to moments from our past, places we’ve been, and stories we carry with us. Moments like these remind us that our residents don’t just have memories… they have worlds of experience

🍱🌏 Ageless Adventure: Cooking Corner/ Sushi Bowl
Our Ageless Adventure took us all the way to South Korea this week and what a delicious journey it was!

Residents got to experience something brand new as we created our very own sushi bowls, filled with fresh ingredients, vibrant colors, and bold flavors. For many, it was their very first time trying a dish like this… and let’s just say the reactions were priceless!

From curiosity to surprise, and then to “Wow, this is actually really good!” it quickly became a favorite. Moments like these remind us that it’s never too late to try something new and discover new favorites.

Exploring cultures through food is one of our favorite ways to bring the world right to our community and we’re just getting started!

🐰🌸 Easter Social at Rosegate Commons

What a hoppin’ good time we had at our Easter Social today! 🐣💛The Easter Bunny made a special visit along with a giant egg friend and went around spreading smiles, laughter, and plenty of photo opportunities with our residents! From sweet moments to lots of giggles, it was truly a day filled with joy and springtime cheer.There’s nothing better than seeing our community come together to celebrate and create memories that will last a lifetime. 📸✨

April Fools’ Day had our residents doing double takes! We served up what looked like cupcakes, sliders, and pickle juice… but surprise!

🧁 “Cupcakes” = meatballs & mashed potatoes
🍔 “Mini sliders” = sweet gummy treats
🥤 “Pickle juice” = actually Hawaiian Punch

The reactions were priceless confusion turned into laughter real quick! It was the perfect mix of fun, creativity, and a little harmless trickery to keep everyone smiling.Safe to say… we got ‘em good this year! 😉
