A full two days of PSI Perinatal Loss Clinic and Supportive Care training. The amount of information I absorbed has me feeling full and heavy but also more knowledgeable in this area to provide care when necessary.

Sometimes pregnancies aren’t smooth and conditions come up that cause pivots in your birth preferences and delivery. Conditions that cause pre-term delivery like Vasa Previa call for a scheduled c-section(safest route).

This requires doulas to provide extra emotional support and advocacy during pregnancy and leading up to birth and beyond. This is why doula care is important and essential.

My client approached every aspect of her birth with patience, clarity and informed decisions. She did amazing after a 45 day hospital stay leading up to her scheduled c-section. On to postpartum care.
