Genesys Solutions recently hosted another incredible Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training session. I’m always in awe of our community, our leaders, peers, and caregivers who come together with a shared commitment to learning how to better support youth experiencing mental health challenges.

Each training fosters a brave space where participants can be open, vulnerable, and reflective. It’s inspiring to see individuals share both personal experiences and stories from their work with youth, all in the spirit of growth and understanding.

We’re grateful to everyone who continues to trust GS with their professional and personal development in areas of mental health, diagnosis, and wellness.

I’m humbled and honored to be a featured speaker at the CBLC Black Health Fair on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 11:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Central Library.

This work is personal for me because I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to have real, open conversations about destigmatizing health in our Black community. Too often, we carry pain in silence BUT healing starts when we speak truth and share resources.

On this day, you’ll not only hear from myself and the amazing Dr. Virginia Caine, but you’ll also have access to 30+ health vendors, free screenings, and services that can truly make a difference for you and your family!

This certification reflects our ongoing commitment to equity, inclusion, and excellence in serving communities across Indiana.

I'm excited to share that Genesys Solutions has been awarded up to $130,000 through the Indiana FSSA Division of Mental Health and Addiction’s Accelerator Initiative Grant – Cohort 2.

This funding will help us continue bridging gaps in mental health and wellness by empowering youth, families, and communities with the tools to heal, grow, and thrive. 💚

We’re honored to partner with the Accelerator Initiative to sustain resilience, equity, and hope in Marion County and beyond.
