Whew! Love Connections Through Birth was such a beautiful and transformative experience for our birth workers and couples. But let’s be real — all that nervousness, stress, and hard work took a toll on our bodies! 😅

So for this month’s IMBC Meeting, we decided to slow down with a much-needed Sip & Color session. 🎨🍷

We kicked things off with snacks, wine, and coloring books, followed by a soothing sound bowl healing led by the amazing Cheyenne of — which definitely helped us loosen up 😂. Then came an impromptu twërk session and dance battle 💃🏾💃🏾, because why not?!

To close things out, Leah of guided us through some gentle body movement and stretching to release tension and fully relax. 🧘🏾‍♀️

Not every meeting looks like this, but after all the energy we poured into LCTB, it felt right to just go with the flow. 💛
IMBC continues to pride itself on creating safe spaces where birth workers can connect, recharge, and lean on our village as needed. ✨

This past Saturday, IMBC had a grand ole time at the Western Bowl! Thanks to our Events Committee, we have an outting to promote bonding between members once a quarter. No announcements or agendas, just laughs, a **few** gutter balls, and lots of catching up!

For many members, we are on call, balancing a day job and our dream, planning a childbirth education course (make sure to register with link in bio!), and going through whatever life has for us each day. It is always refreshing to be able to get to know one another, relax, and enjoy each other's company (with an occasion "you won't believe what happened at this birth). Because this work can easily become isolating with the lifestyle, IMBC creates these spaces for us let everything else go and be in the present moment, enjoying ourselves and leaning on our circle.

Thank you to all the members that made it out in the rain! It was so much fun spending time with you!
