This nationwide winter storm has really highlighted something we often take for granted — the people who run toward danger while the rest of us stay home.

Thank you to the nursing staff and doctors working long shifts - often staying overnight to ensure their patients are cared for, the first responders answering calls in dangerous conditions, the snowplow drivers clearing roads through the night, and the crews keeping power and infrastructure running. Many of you are missing time with your families so others can stay safe.

At Ryskless, we see you — and we are grateful. Your dedication is what keeps communities moving, even in the toughest conditions.

Wednesday Talks (Drugs, round 1)

Can someone define what a drug is? E nergy drinks are probably not the best way to kickstart your day. But if you’re going to use it, do so with a safe process. Crack a can, drink until your body/mind feels like it is happy. Measure and find your own serving size. But remember, the bigger you are the harder you will fall, Trauma.

Snowflakes have the same base
But grow differently

I enjoy the original coke (soda, pop, brown sugary syrups) on occasion, especially during winter times with a side of cookies. Not the drug, that plant or coco puff can go back to the ground where it came from. Eat healthy, stay tune like an engine with how your body, mind and soul feels. But if the light turns on, you may want to see a doc, with force or keep up with your routine maintenance schedule.

I really don’t enjoy talking politics, but 2 and I half men walk 15,000 steps to art museum. Thing 1 is wearing a red suit, thing 2 wearing a blue suit. They stare at a piece of art, then each other probably grinning green furry colors. The red suit asks for a 5-15k donation for the blue suits. Blue suit says, no I’m a republican.

Blue suit goes home, thinks…how can I make more money. I guess I’ll temporarily hire people from beyond. This saturates our people’s market and wages. Please stop ruining colors for us, we like red and fire trucks. Think Thanks.

Anywho, Archer carefully turned 4 today. Yes, he received a pair of beats for a present and Aleksandr started walkinG

Ryskless Talks (Getting through Wednesday with Force)

How do you get through the longest day of the week? Well, I woke up, counted my blessing and realized that it just became the shortest day of the week. Wednesday is a great day to reflect on how Monday and Tuesday went, throw in a Ryskless talk and hopefully watch things change on Thursday and Friday. If it doesn’t work, well water your talks weren’t processed.

The roads are getting scary with all the H2O freezing. Ensuring your tires have the best traction they possibly can is important (ask a race car driver). There is an indicator on most tires that tells us when it’s time to get new tires. Also, don’t forget that cold stress deflates your tires. Check the air pressure. Remember that heat stress will inflate your tires. Stay balanced.

Have you kept up with D.O.T regulations? There is a newer for-hire endorsement designed for smaller companies that stay under 26,000 # but are above 16,000 #. This includes the driving unit and trailer its pulling (combined weight) or the individual unit itself. You need it if you're hauling people or property in the unit.

Why is this important? Well trauma, F = MA. If you don’t believe me, lightly tap your fist on a piece of metal and notice the pain you feel on your hand. If it wasn’t painful enough, try doing it at greater speeds and/or with a roll of nickels in your hand and see what happens JK lol ? If you still don’t feel anything, you may want to check yourself with a doc (Hendricks Regional Health or Indiana University Health). Seriously though, limits of speed with a large sardine can have some meaning behind them, especially near school zones!

Parking lot talk:

My son is turning 4 in 7 days. He recently learned how to pick locks with whatever key he can find that works. He enjoys games, noise cancelling headphones, and Legos. We also live a block from a school he will be attending very soon. Yes, I love being a dad, so he will either walk or ride a bike to school (his option).

Trailer Companies & Manufactures (I won’t use names), please stop derating heavy trailers for companies trying to avoid the 16k & 26k regulations of safety. Help these companies grow into contributing members of our community, not the problem of our community. Educate them, build some values, we are willing to come help. Chasing the dollar bill will only hurt your brand.
