🌿 Grace Living | How Do I Give Control Over to God? 🌿

Sis… if you’ve ever whispered, “God, I’m tired of trying to figure it all out,”
You’re not alone.

Trying to hold everything together can leave you weary, anxious, and afraid to breathe.
But here’s the truth:
You were never meant to carry it all.

God never asked you to be the controller, only the trust-er. 💛

📖 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

So, how do we actually give control to God?
✨ 1. Be honest with where you’re holding on too tightly.
Name the fear. Name the pressure. God can handle your honesty.
✨ 2. Surrender doesn’t mean doing nothing; it means trusting God with the outcome.
You do what you can, and let God do what only He can.
✨ 3. Release control daily, not just once.
Letting go is a practice. A rhythm. A choice you make every morning.
✨ 4. Remember who God is.
He’s not just in control, He’s good. He loves you, sees you, and has plans to prosper you, not harm you.

Sis, you don’t have to hold the pen; God is a better author.
You don’t have to keep striving; rest is available.
You don’t have to fear the unknown; the One who holds the stars holds you, too.

Today, take a breath.
Open your hands.
And say:
“God, I trust You more than I trust my plan.”
Let go… and fall into grace. He’s got you. 💫

With full surrender & deep peace,
🌸 Grace Living

🌿 Grace Living | How Do I Start a Relationship With God?

Sis… if you’re asking this question, your heart is already leaning toward Him. And that’s the beginning of everything. 💛
Starting a relationship with God doesn’t require a perfect past, a fancy prayer, or a long list of spiritual credentials. It starts with one simple, honest yes.

📖 “Come near to God, and He will come near to you.” — James 4:8

So how do you begin?
✨ 1. Talk to Him.
Not with fancy words. Just start with: “God, I want to know You.” Speak from your heart — He listens.
✨ 2. Believe in Jesus.
God sent Jesus to bridge the gap between Him and us. Believing in what Jesus did for you — dying and rising again — is the foundation of your relationship with God.
✨ 3. Receive His grace.
You don’t have to clean yourself up first. Let His love meet you right where you are. His grace is a gift, not something you earn.
✨ 4. Open His Word.
The Bible isn’t just a book — it’s how God speaks to your soul. Start with the book of John to learn who Jesus is and what He offers you.
✨ 5. Walk with Him daily.
Like any relationship, it grows with time. Talk to Him, worship, ask questions, and trust that even when you don’t “feel” it — He’s near.

You don’t have to figure it all out before you begin. You just have to begin.
God isn’t asking you to be perfect — He’s inviting you to be loved.

Welcome home. 💛

🌿 Grace Living | What Does It Mean When We Have Doubts? 🌿
Let’s get real for a minute.
Even the strongest believers… the ones who pray daily, worship deeply, and quote Scripture with boldness, they still have moments of doubt.

✨ Doubt doesn’t mean you’re failing in faith.
✨ Doubt doesn’t mean God is disappointed in you.
✨ Doubt means… you’re human. And it means your heart is searching for truth.

📖 “Lord, I believe, help my unbelief.” — Mark 9:24
This wasn’t a weak statement. It was honest faith. It was a cry from someone who believed enough to come to Jesus with their doubt.

When you bring your questions, fears, and uncertainties to God, you give Him room to reveal Himself more deeply.
So don’t run from the doubt, lean into it with grace and curiosity.

Ask the hard questions.
Sit with God in the silence.
Seek truth with your whole heart.

Because even when you don’t have all the answers…
God is still faithful. Still present. Still holding you together.

And guess what? He’s not afraid of your doubt — He’s already gone ahead of it.

With honesty & hope,

✨ Honoring the Dream | Walking in the Word ✨

Today, we pause to reflect on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man whose dream was not just a political statement, but a deeply spiritual vision. A vision rooted in faith, justice, and the belief that all people are created equal — not just by human law, but by the hand of God Himself.

Dr. King dreamed of a world where character mattered more than color.
Where love triumphed over hate.
Where justice rolled down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24).

🕊️ Doesn’t that sound a lot like the Kingdom of God?

💛 Here’s how his dream aligns with the Word:
📖 Equality:
“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” – Galatians 3:28
Dr. King believed in unity, just like the Word teaches us. In God’s eyes, we are one family — and we must treat each other that way.
📖 Love over Hate:
“But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” – Matthew 5:44
He modeled radical love and forgiveness. Can we do the same in our homes, our communities, even online?
📖 Purpose through Faith:
Dr. King once said, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”
Sounds like Hebrews 11:1 to me: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Your purpose is activated when your faith is louder than your fear.

🌱 So what can we learn and apply today?

Stand up for truth – even when it’s hard.
Choose love and grace – even when anger feels easier.
Speak life over others – especially the ones who’ve been silenced.
Be the light – in your family, workplace, and community.
🌍 The dream isn’t just history.

It’s a call to action.
Let’s live it, walk it, and reflect the heart of Christ in all we do.

🕊️💫 Grace Living means Kingdom Living.
And the Kingdom is built on justice, love, and fearless faith.

🌿 Grace Living | How Can I Forgive When I’m Still Hurting? 🌿

Let’s talk truth:
Forgiveness doesn’t always come with closure.
It doesn’t mean the pain disappeared overnight.
It doesn’t excuse what was done…
But it does release you from carrying the weight of it any longer.
So how do you forgive when you’re still hurting?

✨ You start where you are, not where you wish you were.

You bring your wounds to God and say:
“Lord, I don’t feel ready… but I want to be willing.”
And that, sis, is a powerful beginning.

📖 “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32

Forgiveness is not forgetting.
It’s not pretending you’re okay when you’re not.
It’s choosing, by grace, to let go of revenge and release the offense into God’s hands, not because they deserve it, but because you deserve peace.

Your heart can still be healing and forgiving.
You can cry and still choose freedom.
You can feel the sting and still say:
“God, I give this to You, because it’s too heavy for me to carry.”

Forgiveness is a journey, not a one-time event.
Some days you’ll have to forgive the same person more than once.
That’s not failure, that’s faithfulness.

✨ You are not weak for feeling pain.
✨ You are strong for choosing to walk through it with grace.

Let forgiveness be the doorway to your healing, not the proof you’re already healed.

With compassion & courage,
🌸 Grace Living

🌿 Bible Verses About Being Made New 🌿

✨ 2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
👉🏾 A reminder that your past doesn’t define you — God does.

✨ Ezekiel 36:26
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
👉🏾 God doesn’t just fix what’s broken — He replaces it with something better.

✨ Isaiah 43:18–19
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
👉🏾 You are allowed to stop rehearsing old pain and start expecting something fresh.

✨ Romans 6:4
“Just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”
👉🏾 Resurrection power lives in you — walk in it.

✨ Colossians 3:10

👉🏾 Becoming new is a process, not perfection. Grace is with you every step.

🌿 Grace Living | What Do We Look Like Without the Effects of Sin? 🌿

Have you ever wondered who you really are, underneath the wounds, the shame, the fear, the striving?

✨ What would you look like without the effects of sin?
You’d be whole.
Unashamed.
At peace in your skin.
Fully known and fully loved — without ever questioning your worth.

🌸 You’d walk in purpose without insecurity.
🌸 You’d love without fear of rejection.
🌸 You’d rest without guilt.
🌸 You’d see yourself through God’s eyes — radiant, worthy, and pure.

That was always the original design, sis.
Back in Eden, before the fall, we were created in the image of God, not just to reflect Him, but to walk with Him in unbroken connection.

That version of you, the unblemished, unburdened, unafraid version, still matters to God.

And the good news?
Jesus came to restore that image. 🙌🏾

Through grace, He is healing the places sin distorted.
Through love, He is rewriting the story.
And one day, oh, one day, we will stand before Him, fully restored.

✨ But even now, even here, we get glimpses.
In every act of forgiveness.
In every step of healing.
In every moment, you choose grace over guilt.
You are not beyond repair. You are being renewed.

Sin may have tried to steal your beauty, but God never forgot it.

With grace & truth,
🌸 Grace Living

🌿 A Prayer for the Dark Season 🌿

From Grace Living

Heavenly Father,
Right now, it feels heavy.
The light seems far away, and I don’t always know how to keep going.
But I choose to believe, even in the silence, even in the unknown, that You are near.
You are the God who walks through valleys.
You are the hand that holds me when I can’t take another step.
You see the tears I cry in secret and the battles I fight in silence.
Lord, remind my heart that You are still in control.
Wrap me in peace, that doesn’t make sense.
Speak life into the places that feel dead inside.
Give me strength to breathe, to hope, to rise, even if all I can do is whisper Your name.
I trust that this darkness is not the end of my story.
I believe that even here, You are working, shaping, healing, restoring.
Help me feel Your love again, strong and steady, like the sunrise after the longest night.
I may not see the way forward, but I know the One who holds the way.
And for today, that is enough.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen. 💛
