So.....I know I said your shirts would be coming. And THEY ARE. Unfortunately I have to un-bury myself from the massive workload I've had for the last few weeks so I can get them sent out. Good thing is? There's a light at the end of the tunnel!

For those of you who did not get shirts? I picked them up this week and they will be going out soon!
(Please be patient as we are dealing with the passing of my grandmother and Cam's great-grandmother) Will let you know when they are ready to go.

I screwed up. I will 100% admit it and own it.

The kids were all supposed to receive the custom "RISE" shirt prior to graduation. Due to me not proofreading the order, we were way short on the most popular size. Here is my promise to you: Your shirt is coming. You earned it. Once they are printed, I will either send them via USPS or deliver personally depending on how close you are to my area. I will post here when they are sent out so you know to keep an eye on the mailbox.

Side note to parents: my shirts are a one and done. I never repeat a design or color, and my kids are the ONLY camp to receive these shirts. I spend countless hours designing them to the theme of the camp, and the music we use for the video. May your camper wear them with pride! Believe me when I say that they were earned!

Today was a chance to blow off some steam and have some fun. We took a little road trip down to Combat Ops Entertainment. Dave's crew is amazing. They opened their doors early just for us and we had the entire building all to ourselves. Needless to say a good time was had by all. If you have never been there? You are missing a really fun time.

And the final battle was 34 vs 9....campers vs. staff. We (staff) remain the undisputed and undefeated champions of the laser tag arena for the SEVENTH straight year! (The group picture of campers in the arena was taken prior to getting a big slice of humble pie)

Oh boy...where to begin. Today wrapped up our rotations of traffic stops, self-defense, DUI, and MILO. But while the campers were occupied with our ERT team outside, little did they know that a room inspection was occurring. I will say it ended badly. Very badly. Our noses may possibly never recover from some of the smells we encountered.

Let the shenanigans begin!

Well.....Day 1 is officially in the books. Sunday wrapped up with learning military drill. (We're still working on that)

Monday was shootin', fightin', and drivin' with some good ol' traffic stops thrown in for fun! DUI simulation on the golf cart. Sad to say that there was some serious cone carnage going on. Funeral details to follow for the affected cones. Some mat work with self defense is always a good time. And some shooting simulation on the MILO system for some trigger time. Wrapped the day up with NE Indiana K9 Search and Response Team.

Tuesday? Rotate and repeat. Please say a prayer for our cones.
