Indiana Therapeutic Massage School ITMS provides excellent education to upcoming professional massage therapists. Est. 1994 Our faculty is the heart and soul of ITMS.

Each of our instructors were former graduates of ITMS. They are all current Certified Massage Therapists, who bring their experience and skills to the classroom. We are dedicated to providing an educational program that will transform students into exceptional Certified Massage Therapists. Our Mission Statement Indiana Therapeutic Massage School is dedicated to providing high-quality comprehensive therapeutic massage training at a reasonable tuition rate. We are committed to assisting students as they become proficient massage therapists, successful business professionals, and productive members of the massage community.

Meet Alex! He graduated from ITMS in 2025 and operates his massage business, Root and Stem Bodywork, inside Elite Back and Body (chiropractic care) on the near east side of Indy. Fun fact: Alex is also an incredible conductor for a really cool jazz nonet called the Hickey-Shanafelt

Meet Darren! Darren graduated ITMS in 2023. His practice, Beech Grove Wellness, is located on the south side at 9 N 18th Avenue. Fun fact: Darren (and his handy contractor friends) renovated the building that houses Beech Grove Wellness. His space is so beautiful and inviting and reflects his intention behind his work very well.
