If you’ve been laying in bed feeling like your body and emotions are racing in slow-motion (or the opposite!), you are SO not alone. I’ve been deep in this myself the last few days, hard to get out of bed, neck/back out of alignment, headaches, emotional waves, and I wanted to share what I’ve found, so you can feel seen, supported, and know that this does pass.
🌀 What’s actually going on energetically:
Here are a few of the big cosmic shifts affecting us right now:
• We’re in the pre-shadow of the Mercury retrograde (Nov 9-29) which means brain-fog, time-confusion, exhaustion, and mental/emotional “oops this isn’t over yet” energy.
• The Saturn Rx in Pisces (since July) is pushing up themes of boundaries, structural shifts, inner grief, and it can show up as physical heaviness and tiredness in the body.
• The Mars in Scorpio has been amping tension, especially around the spine, neck, emotional system, telling us it’s time for transformation (not just surface healing).
• We’re also still integrating the ripple effects of recent eclipses (which show us what’s ending, what’s shifting) so the body & emotions are like “hold up, I’m still catching up.”
💪 Why your back, neck, body might be speaking up (like i feel like i need my chiropractor on the weekly!!)
Here’s how this energetic crew shows up in the physical:
• Saturn = bones, joints, structural system. So when Saturn is active/retrograde, your spine, hips, posture, vertebrae might feel it.
• Mars = muscles, inflammation, tension & stored energy. Mars in Scorpio can mean deep-tissue stuff is moving, maybe even old tightness releasing.
• Emotional overload (home/family/future themes) = your nervous system + fascia + musculature catch the stress (hello neck/back pain + flare ups).
So yes: your chiropractor visits being more frequent? Totally understandable. Your body is under more than your conscious mind might realize.
🕊️ What helps right now (and when things ease up)
• Give yourself permission to rest more. The body is trying to realign on many levels.
• Gentle movement, neck/back alignment work, chiropractor or body-work support are gold right now.
• Track the time-windows:
• The next 2-3 weeks (through mid-November) are big for the Mercury pre-shadow + Mars energy.
• After the Sun enters Sagittarius (Nov 22) and we hit that Mercury retrograde (Nov 9-29) shift into motion, things start shifting toward more ease.
• The real relief for structural/back systems will pick up once Saturn stations direct around Nov 27–28.
• Affirmation: “This is a process. My body is recalibrating. I am supported. I will move through this with gentleness.”
🤍 You’re not broken — you’re becoming
If you’ve been thinking something’s “wrong” with you for feeling so heavy, let me assure you, you’re in a powerful threshold. Change is happening, even if it doesn’t feel pretty. You’re doing the work whether you see it or not.
If your back is flickering out, your neck is tight, your head is pounding, it makes sense. Your spine, your nervous system, your subtle field are all moving with this.
Lean into care, body-work, and patience. The storm doesn’t last forever, but what you’ll come out of it with will be stronger, more aligned, and more anchored than before.
