❤️ 🎶 “Love, we need it now.” 🎶 ❤️

We had an awesome time at Friday’s camp and are feeling very grateful for another chance to spend time exploring the enduring warmth, charm, and beauty of the downtown Iowa City community and those that are part of it. ☺️

Kids exploring downtown, laughing in the parks, hunting ducks, solving clues, sharing pizza, waving at familiar faces — being together in a place we care about.

Especially this week, we’re thankful for the people and small businesses that make this place feel welcoming, creative, and connected.

In one way or another at our camp on Friday we visited our friends at .museums - and were just as grateful to be racing by our other friends who open their doors to our campers for special times throughout the year: 🥰

💛 We’re proud to be raising kids in community. Thankful to spend our days in the downtown community. And grateful to be part of what makes it special. 💛

We’re excited for our last no-school camp of the year and a big day of Downtown Discovery!

On deck: our Amazing Iowa City Race, a bus ride adventure to the park, and a experience to top it all off. It’s a full-send Friday!

If you need some righteous last minute plans for your kiddo, we can probably sneak you in … just note that we only have two spots left.

We’re baaaaaack! 👋

It’s been a busy stretch behind the scenes at GoldCap, and we’re excited to start sharing what’s coming up this spring.

With two no-school days coming up in April, we’re bringing back our popular Downtown Discovery camps — and if last time was any indication, spots won’t last long.

These camps turn a day off school into a downtown adventure — kids exploring Iowa City, visiting local spots, tackling creative challenges, and spending the day learning alongside friends and real teachers who love what they do.

It’s one of our favorite ways to bring kids together and connect them with the community around them.

April 3rd and 24th No-School Camps are now open for registration. Limited spots - These sold out quick last year!

We’re thankful we were able to visit one last time at our Strikes and Sweets no-school day camp last week. With their doors closing this week, we’ll definitely miss having them as part of our camps. 🎳

Our Nov 19 group made the most of the day with bowling, a special experience at , and lots of exploring around . A full day of energy and great downtown experiences!

Thank you to for always being a fun stop on our camp adventures. We’ve appreciated having you in the mix. 😌

🍕💛 What a day! Our Nov 4 Downtown Discovery Camp was packed with fun — from a stop and a private pizza party at to adventures at the park and hunts through , we had a great time together and of course with our mascot and favorite explorer, Rusty the Sloth! 🦥💛

Huge thanks to all our awesome campers who brought the energy, curiosity, and teamwork all day long! 🙌

💥 Didn’t make it this time? Don’t worry — we’ve got one more no-school day adventure coming up on Nov 19! Join us for another day of games, challenges, and sweet surprises around downtown Iowa City.

🦆💛 We had a great time at the Penn PTO meeting last night! While parents discussed the important stuff, GoldCap kept the fun rolling with activity stations and a mini duck hunt that the kids loved 🐥🎯

We always enjoy connecting with families and being part of these amazing school communities that make shine! Big thanks to everyone who joined in the fun — we’re already looking forward to next time!
