Cupping is one of my favorite modalities. I find it very effective and it pairs perfectly with trigger point therapy.
I’ll pinpoint areas I believe cupping would be most helpful, place the cups, then work on another area while they sit. Cupping can leave marks but not always. These marks typically stay for about a week or less but occasionally they can stay for up to two weeks.

The model in this photo was having a severe migraine the day before their session that seemed to stem from a tighter than usual shoulder. They felt MUCH better after their session.

I offer cupping and/or gua sha (muscle scraping.) Some people enjoy both modalities and some people have a preference of one over the other! You can ask me to add in either during your session! We can also discuss what might work best for you and your situation.

In this case my client was experiencing a lot of hip flexor pain that radiated down into their knees. They fully approved the photo and me sharing the experience!
