Riviera Club Luncheon - 3/8/23
Donna Farris and Debbie Belsher were invited to speak at a luncheon on 3/8/23 at the Hills Hotel hosted by the Riviera Club. They are a non-profit women's group located in South Orange County. Their president Kathy Moon, is an excellent, motivated leader of this team of women. They are a fantastic group who support various charities and we were very blessed to accept a check for $500 from the Riviera Club directly. Additional personal donations of $614 was just received as well, for a grand total of $1,114!!
Elisabeth Balsamo from community services introduced them and Donna was able to share the history and mission of Healing Odyssey. Debbie able to share her testimony as a survivor and a retreat participant. They also shared details about our upcoming Wine, Women, and Song fundraiser and basket assembly! Our very own senior ambassador, survivor, and previous retreat counselor, Heather C. Gilbert, is a member of this great philanthropic group. We are grateful for her connection and support. The lunch was excellent, the company was uplifting and welcoming, and the entertainment was so much fun! We are so very grateful for their support and generous donations! Thank you so much to the Riviera Club! You guys rock!!
