Razin Cane 🐾

This adorable pug recently came in for a CT scan and completely stole our hearts, mostly by being the cutest little napper ever. 😴❤️ We couldn’t resist snapping a photo while he was snoozing away.

CT imaging helps us get a detailed look inside the body quickly and non-invasively, giving veterinarians valuable information to help diagnose and plan treatment for their patients.

Razin was an absolute sweetheart from start to finish, and we’re pretty sure he deserves a gold medal in professional napping. 🥹

New Case Study: After 9 months of right front limb lameness, Benji the Golden Retriever needed answers. Using MRI + CT advanced imaging in one procedure, we uncovered the source of his pain, findings that standard imaging alone may have missed.

How did each imaging modality help tell the full story? 👀

Woody came along to support his buddy during a recent bone scan appointment… and apparently to make sure none of us went hungry while we were at it. 🤎🐴

Caught mid-snack, Woody thought that we might want a bite too. Truly the most caring and selfless mini around, keeping his friend company and offering up snacks like the gentleman he is. We could all use a Woody in our corner. 🥹

What happens when your pet swallows something they shouldn’t… or needs answers without invasive surgery?

In the newest episode of Diagnostic Tails, Dr. Amy Armentrout and Dr. Lon Hays dive into the world of veterinary endoscopy and how this minimally invasive technology is helping pets get faster diagnoses, targeted biopsies, and even foreign body removal, often with just a single anesthetic event.

Joined by veterinary technician Mia, the team also shares behind-the-scenes insights from recent hands-on training and what these advanced procedures mean for improving patient care and recovery.

If you’ve ever wondered how veterinarians “look inside” pets without major surgery, this episode is for you.

featuring Miss Pepper 🌶️🐾

Miss Pepper recently visited us for a thyroid scan, but she would like everyone to know that she had one very important request: if she could just stay in her bag for the whole scan, that would be great. 😂 Despite the intense stare down she gave us, she was actually the sweetest little patient.

Thyroid scans help evaluate thyroid function and are commonly used to diagnose conditions like hyperthyroidism in cats, helping veterinarians determine the best treatment plan moving forward.

We loved meeting Miss Pepper and her cozy bag-loving personality.

Ranger would like to know who approved Monday showing up again already. 😳

Those little teeth are OUT and the betrayal is real. He was just getting into the weekend groove with naps, snacks, and absolutely no responsibilities. Now suddenly it’s Monday again? Unacceptable.

Not your average CT patient… 🦘

Meet Thumper, a kangaroo who hopped in for a skull CT, and trust us, this is a case you don’t see every day.

CT imaging allows us to get a detailed, 3D look at complex structures like the skull, helping pinpoint issues that standard X-rays can miss. For unique patients like Thumper, that level of precision is everything when it comes to getting answers and guiding treatment.

Check out this video to see how it all works, this is one you won’t want to skip.
