We had a fantastic time at the VPP Kickoff Event, and we're so grateful to the Jackson Hinds team and their mobile clinic for being on site! This year, they supported us by providing on-site dental screenings in addition to glucose and blood pressure checks. It was a wonderful opportunity to team up with Hunter Engineering Company!

Empowering our team with life-saving skills!

Today, our JHCHC nursing staff participated in Naloxone Administration and other Clinical Skills Training equipping them to better serve our community.

A huge thank you to Charlotte Bryant from the Department of Mental Health for providing vital training on opioid safety.

We also recognize Michelle Owens, Director of Nursing, Sandra Gray, Director of Compliance and Safety, and Tameiki Lee, Clinical Compliance/Deputy Safety Compliance, for their leadership in making this possible.

Today, we celebrate an incredible milestone for a truly remarkable man. Dr. Peoples has been a pillar of wisdom, leadership, and dedication. He served as a long-time board member of Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center and impacting countless lives throughout his journey.

From his service as a decorated Marine to shaping young minds as an educator, leading Jackson State University as its 6th President, and inspiring generations across Mississippi and beyond, his legacy is nothing short of extraordinary.
