This week, we proudly recognize our incredible Patient Access team! They are those who are often the very first face and voice our patients encounter.

From registration desks in our hospital to front offices in our clinics, these dedicated team members work tirelessly to ensure every patient feels welcomed, supported, and cared for from the very start. Their compassion, attention to detail, and commitment help create a smooth and positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

We’re honored to recognize Ashley Arnold, owner of The Caterpillar’s Closet – a “thrift shop with a purpose,” as one of our Community Health Heroes 💙

Ashley reminds us that health and wellness don’t always look like a workout or a doctor’s visit. Sometimes, it’s a listening ear, a meaningful conversation, or even sharing a cup of coffee. Her goal is simple but powerful: to make people feel heard, seen, and valued.

With a deep calling to help others, Ashley believes her shop was part of God’s plan long before she ever imagined it. Through The Caterpillar’s Closet, she brings people together from all walks of life creating a space rooted in collaboration, celebration, and unity. The daily connections formed within her shop are a testament to the impact compassion can have on community health.

FAVORITES! A morning cup of hot earl grey tea or a Reese’s Blizzard during a busy ER shift!

🌟 Dr. Boucher is known for demonstrating strong composure under pressure. He has the ability to help the team feel supported & at ease, regardless of the intensity of the Emergency Department. He consistently maintains a calm demeanor & excels in every aspect of his role as a physician.

💬 When not at the hospital, Dr. Boucher enjoys traveling with his best friend and wife - Mary.

Dr. Boucher’s favorite animal is a cat! He loves his pet cats!

It was a beautiful day to be outside and enjoy Orlando’s barbecue.

🌟 Dr. Cox is known for creating a supportive & welcoming environment through his genuine kindness & willingness to assist staff with any task regardless of its nature.
He is exceptionally humble & consistently demonstrates a calm & compassionate bedside manner.

💬 Attuned to the needs of his team, he often recognizes when nurses are feeling overwhelmed & thoughtfully finds a way to boost morale- sometimes by even offering to treat the team to pizza!

🫣FUN FACT! Dr. Cox is better at starting an IV than all the nurses!

🐶 Dr. Cox loves Dachshunds! He already has one apart of the family & is welcoming another soon!

🌟 Dr. Stevens is known for his deep compassion for his patients. He pays extra attention to details regarding his patient’s health, and is dedicated to providing excellent health care.

These are a few of my favorite things:
College Football? LSU Tigers
Animal? Dog (especially his “Callie Girl”)
Shift Snack? Strong, black coffee with Dove chocolate

💬 Dr. Stevens loves any outdoor activity like quail hunting and staying at the lake house! These things are especially enjoyable for him if his family and eating is involved, too!
