35 bed acute care hospital, in operation for over 70 years, with services which include inpatient care, swingbed services, alcohol and drug detox program (New Hope Detox), 24 hour Emergency Room, clinical lab, radiology, ultrasound, mammography, C.T., M.R.I.. Outpatient services also include Medicaid physical therapy, outpatient infusions, Vein Clinic, Weight loss and Hydration services (Essential Care Clinic), Occupational Health Services (Jackson Occupational Health). JMC operates one primary care clinic (JMC Urgent Care), one Rural Health Clinic (Family Medical Clinic) and Jackson Home Health.

The two were among 24 professionals representing 19 hospitals from Alabama in this course.

The knowledge and expertise they gained will continue to help us provide quality care close to home.

Thank you to all who joined us for our celebration for the opening of our new medical office location, now home to Jackson Home Health and Essential Care Clinic.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible. City of Jackson - Mayor Paul South and City Council, Healthcare Authority Board, SmartBank, and the JMC staff - B.J. Garrick, Project Director for drawing the plans and overseeing the project, Patrick Wilson & Chandler McCormick for clean up and lots of heavy lifting, Billie Ann Sellers and Teresa Napper for having the vision and creating a warm inviting space, all the Home Health staff and their spouses, and many other employees that played a part on this great team.

Today we celebrate the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps our hospital running smoothly. From fixing computers to protecting patient information, our IT team ensures that technology helps—not hinders—patient care.

They may not wear scrubs, but they’re every bit as vital to the care we provide. Thank you for your expertise, quick problem-solving, and endless patience (especially when we forget our passwords… again 😅).
