Green was the color of the day at Vista Grande Villa! ☘️

Our residents had a blast whipping up Shamrock Shakes and celebrating with a little St. Patrick’s Day fun. The room was full of laughter, sweet treats, and plenty of festive green as everyone enjoyed the time together.

There’s nothing better than good company, a tasty shake, and a reason to celebrate. Today was a perfect reminder that the best moments are the ones we share. Cheers to fun, friendship, and a little bit of Irish luck! 💚

We're excited to share important news about the future of Vista Grande Villa. Vista Grande Villa and Otterbein SeniorLife have agreed to enter into an affiliation that will strengthen our community and support our long-term mission of providing exceptional care and services to older adults.

Otterbein SeniorLife is a respected, faith-based, nonprofit organization with a long history of serving older adults through high quality senior living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, and hospice services. With locations throughout Ohio and Franklin, Indiana, and now expanding into Michigan. Otterbein shares Vista Grande Villa's commitment to compassionate, resident centered care. Otterbein's mission is: "Inspired by faith, we strive to enrich individual life journeys for all."

Through this affiliation, Vista Grande Villa will become part of the larger mission-driven network while continuing the traditions and culture that make our community special.

This affiliation represents an exciting step forward for Vista Grande Villa. It positions our community for continued stability, growth, and innovation while preserving the warmth and supportive environment our residents call home. Daily life will continue as normal, and residents can expect the same high-quality care, hospitality, and personal attention they have always received.

This affiliation will be discussed at the General Resident Meeting where Otterbein SeniorLife President and CEO Jill Wilson, as well as Vista Grande Villa Board of Directors, will be present on March 18th at 2 pm in the Grande Room. The 'Soup's On for Seniors' event, hosted by Friends of Jackson Seniors in support of Meals on Wheels, proved to be a resounding success.

These girls from Vista Grande Villa were present to lend support and sample soups provided by local restaurants We enjoyed live music, participated in a 50-50 drawing, and one lucky individual, Kim, won a basket in the silent auction.

Spreading joy and fostering connection with The Jackson Crossing Mall and Vista residents was our aim today!

Thanks to our incredible residents and staff, Random Acts of Kindness Day was a huge success once again. Passing out flowers to random mall shoppers and walkers made everyone smile!
