Did you know? Veterans Talking to Veterans coaches are trained by Mentor Agility, an accredited program through the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching. We work with veterans and their families to move into a space of growth!

Growth begins in that small, often overlooked moment between “what happens” and “what we choose next.”
A reminder for coaches and clients in 2026.

We are very grateful to Dan Starks and to the National Museum of Military Vehicles for hosting our annual event for veterans, their families and the local community these past three years! We encourage you to listen to this really informative and inspiring interview to learn more about this amazing museum in Dubois, Wyoming.

🎙️ A Conversation Worth Your Time

Dan Starks, Founder and Chairman of the National Museum of Military Vehicles, recently sat down with Jimmy Mac on Road Gang Radio for a wide-ranging and deeply thoughtful conversation about history, service, and purpose.

In the interview, Starks reflects on how a single restored Sherman tank grew into a world-class museum in Dubois, Wyoming—now home to the largest private collection of military vehicles in the world. He also speaks candidly about the museum’s deeper mission: honoring veterans not only through preservation and education, but by creating a place of connection, community, and support for those who have served.

From rare Revolutionary War artifacts to fully operable tanks, helicopters, and vehicles spanning World War I to the Global War on Terror, this conversation offers powerful insight into why the National Museum of Military Vehicles exists—and why its work matters now more than ever.

Have you seen the movie “Sheepdog” yet? It was recently released to create additional awareness about veterans, and life after service. “The setting reinforced the film’s position inside a broader national conversation about how the country supports veterans after war.”

“Sheepdog is a truly artistic and authentic portrayal of the challenges many veterans and their families face after military service,” Foor told Military.com. “Post-traumatic stress does not exist in isolation. It affects marriages, parenting, employment, and a veteran’s sense of identity and belonging.”

We’re so thankful for Gary Hobbs, one of our trained VTTV coaches. Thank you Gary for always lending a hand!

“I’ve always been very passionate about helping people when they need help,” Hobbs said. “(If) anybody needs a hand, I’m usually one of the first ones to be there to help them out. I get a lot of satisfaction out of that; just ask them to pay it forward, and I think it happens.”

CHEYENNE — When Gary Hobbs extends a helping hand to his community, he doesn’t expect recognition or praise.
