✨ Employee Spotlight: Andrew Udkovich ✨

From shaping future nurses in the classroom to helping transform healthcare education through innovation, Andrew Udkovich brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, teaching experience, and forward-thinking leadership to TDS Health.

Originally from San Diego, Andrew has called Rochester home for the past 14 years, though he admits he still misses the sun and beach every day. With a background as a pediatric nurse, nurse practitioner, and nurse educator, he has had the privilege of teaching the next generation of healthcare professionals at the University of Rochester and St. John Fisher University.

As Senior Clinical Product Manager, Andrew provides clinical oversight across our portfolio of platforms and helps bridge clinical expertise with commercial strategy to drive product adoption. As Andrew puts it, “I believe in the power of technology and how it can enhance students’ clinical skills, critical thinking, and decision making, ultimately improving their practice readiness.”

He especially enjoys the collaborative nature of his role and partnering with academic institutions and healthcare systems to deliver solutions that help learners and providers become more confident, competent, and practice ready.

Fun fact: Andrew has traveled to the Chilean Naval Station on Cape Horn, just 400 miles from Antarctica, making him someone who has stood at nearly the edge of the world. 🌎

We’re grateful for Andrew’s passion, insight, and dedication to advancing healthcare education. 👏

This National Hospital Week, TDS Health proudly recognizes the dedication, compassion, and expertise of hospitalists who work tirelessly to provide exceptional patient care every day. Thank you for being an essential part of the healthcare team and for making a difference in the lives of patients and families across our communities.

Today kicks off National Hospital Week, and we could not be more grateful for the incredible team members who make WVU Medicine what it is each and every day.

From those providing direct patient care to the countless individuals working behind the scenes, every single person within our hospitals plays a vital role in fulfilling our mission and serving our communities with compassion, excellence, and dedication. Without the hard work, commitment, and teamwork of each and every employee, we simply could not function the way we do.

This week, we celebrate all of the amazing people who make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families every day. Thank you for all that you do — your efforts do not go unnoticed, and we are proud to have such an outstanding team here at Wheeling Hospital!

Visualize and master the musculoskeletal system like never before with 3D Real-time Functional Anatomy from our partner Primal Pictures 3D Anatomy & Physiology.

Knowledge of functional anatomy is a must for all healthcare workers to understand and diagnose musculoskeletal conditions. Especially physical/physiotherapists, occupational therapists and those in sports science. Visualizing this movement is challenging as structures are obscured by the skin and can’t be fully understood from 2D resources or limited angles. With Primal’s 3D Real-time Functional Anatomy, your students won’t just learn – they will master functional anatomy.
