I came across the founder of HMI nutrition school, Liana Shanti, back in 2013 . Taking time for yourself.

I really liked the nutritional information she posted along with the scientific information to back it up. At the time, my kids were still young and I was doing what a lot of young mothers do, I put myself and my health on the “back burner”. I didn't pay a lot of attention to what and how I was eating and the only exercise that I got was chasing my kids! When Liana posted on social media, she would talk about nutrition, health and being good to your body. I wasn't doing any of that but I wanted to. I always figured I would have time after my kids were grown and after I was settled in my marriage. In 2015 my life and thinking changed dramatically. The foundation that I was familiar with was gone and my own foundation started taking shape. That was when I did my first cleanse, the 66-day Health Mastery. I took many steps forward and many steps backwards. But since that time I have lost weight, my skin issues have improved and I have refined my eating habits. I take more time for myself. I am more aware of the things that I am doing and the effect that they have on me- body, mind, and soul. I made the decision to become a student at HMI nutrition School so that I could take care of my family, instill good health habits, and also become a health coach. I meet people where they are, help them improve their health, inspire them, educate and empower them to live their best life! I went through the candida cleanse to heal my body with guidance from a fellow HMI graduate health coach. Liana Shanti's programs have changed my life for the better.
