I built The Collective Om because I saw how often high performers are told to push through stress instead of understand it.

Anxiety, overwhelm, and shutdown are not flaws. They are nervous system signals.

The goal is not to simply calm down. The goal is to feel safe enough to regulate.

Through leadership trainings, Lunch and Learns, and keynote speaking, I help teams reduce burnout, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with clarity and purpose.

Every person has the power to create a ripple effect of peace. When we nurture inner compassion, kindness, and love, it naturally flows out into our families, our communities, and the world.

That’s why we gathered in our local community to support the Walk for Peace, to pause, reflect, and join in the spirit of what the monks are doing: walking simply to spread loving-kindness, asking for nothing in return.

Join us for Walk for Peace: An Evening of Loving-Kindness 🧘‍♀️

Inspired by the Buddhist monks walking across the country to spread compassion and nonviolence, we are gathering online to pause together and be part of a larger message of peace.

In just 30 minutes, we will share a brief discussion, a simple journal reflection, and a guided loving-kindness meditation. A small moment of calm can create a ripple of kindness in the world.

After living and working in France for three years, I experienced firsthand what a slower, more supportive culture can do for both health and clarity. That experience deeply shaped my decision to found The Collective Om, to bridge Western science and Eastern wisdom in ways that help people reduce stress, slow down, and regulate their nervous systems in everyday life.

I’m grateful to have joined a Facebook Live conversation last night ahead of participating as a workshop host at Steppintine on Valentine’s Day. A special thank you to the Steppintine leadership team for creating space for this work and for recognizing the importance of practices like yoga and mindfulness within their festival programming.

Introducing yoga as a new class is a powerful acknowledgment that well-being includes learning how to relate to our thoughts and bodies and remembering that we have choice in how we respond, not just react.

One of the greatest joys of this work is knowing that for many people, this may be their first experience with yoga or mindful movement. Creating an accessible, supportive space for that first step is a gift, and one I’m truly looking forward to.

Turns out AI thinks I do it with big hand gestures and a lot of enthusiasm, which is pretty accurate. A fun reminder not to take ourselves too seriously.

Have you ever wondered what would change if you spoke to yourself the way you speak to a dear friend?

Last night in the salt cave, we practiced exactly that. We slowed down. We softened. We released perfectionism and old fears through gentle journaling, breathwork, yoga, and a visualization of meeting our younger self with compassion.

So much grace settled in that space.

I’m deeply grateful to the Salt Cave for holding us, and to everyone who showed up willing to pause and listen inward. Moments like these remind me how powerful it is to simply be human together.

Grace makes room for joy.
