It has taken me a few days to put into words this past weekend. I attended the Bravenly Global Conference in Orlando, and if you keep reading, you’ll see why I feel so passionately about the products and this company. I can sum it up in one word…….
𝓖𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓽𝓾𝓭𝓮
I never expected a year and a half ago, that I would ever want to go, much less actually attend. So I’ll explain why..
In August of 2022, I had been off social media for 3 years. For some reason, I decided to get back on Instagram. I just happened to come across a post by Brandie P. Green about some kind of energy drink. I kept watching and thinking, maybe I need that. Because, man, I was TIRED ALL THE TIME! I asked her about it at inservice for back to school. She gave me a sample, and boy, IT DID WORK!
I felt better and actually wanted to exercise again. I was not as hungry. My joints moved a little easier 🤣🤣🤣. So, I joined as a Brand Partner. I told her, “if it works, I’ll talk about it” 🤣. She didn’t push, and I tried them all. I didn’t really need to lose much weight, but boy, I needed energy. And….I had dabbled in network marketing before without much success.
So, I attended a sip and social at April Brown’s house and met Brittany Lee Beck and Adrienne Varn Arrington. The thing that stuck with me was this, “this is new company. We are running with momentum. Do you want to look back in a year and wish you had jumped in?” I thought a long time about that.
So, one Saturday morning, I made a post about coffee and Gold. Within minutes I got a text from my friend Mary Boozer Rhodes. She wanted to buy it. Her words, “well if Stephanie is using it, it must be good because she would not use or talk about something that isn’t”. I bumbled my way through enrolling her and then continued to post (occasionally).
Enter December 2022, our dad got very sick and passed in January 2023. I did NOTHING with this little side gig. But in February, got to sharing and talking about all the benefits of these products. Then July came and our mom got very sick and passed. Again, I did NOTHING related to this business.
But life goes on and I began sharing about these products. I learned how to do a reel. Thank you Misty Brewer Lee for the coaching and pushing me out of my comfort zone), I went LIVE on fb. Thank you Brandie P. Green
for encouraging that! I learned how to use Canva, add music to reels, etc.
So all that said, I’m going to say this. I’m grateful that I got back on social media.
I grateful an older dog CAN learn new tricks🤣🤣.
I’m grateful for those samples.
I’m grateful that Aspen Emry created a company that really is what they say they are. God first, then family, then business (as evidenced by the Emry family praying over every single seat in the room where the conference was, and the worship service Sunday morning).
I’m grateful for the friends I’ve made. Near and far.
I’m so grateful for my customers who have trusted me with your health journey and know me well enough to know that I wouldn’t risk my professional reputation for a sale.
I’m grateful to the Lord for all His blessings.
My heart is always with helping people. This is much more than a side gig and has never been about me. Because the picture with that 25k in personal sales, would not have been possible without all of you, my customers, but particularly without God. I do nothing without Him. But, this side gig” has allowed us to GIVE much more to church to further the Kingdom.
So 18 months later, here I am. 10 lbs and 18 inches smaller, giving more, helping people, making friends, loving on people, and never expecting anything because I don’t “deserve” what the Lord has given me, and I am NOT enough. He is enough.
