🌟 Meet Patrick Moran, LSW (PA), LGSW (MN) 🌟

We are thrilled to introduce Patrick Moran, a dedicated psychotherapist and valued member of our team, supervised by Kurt W. Oster, LICSW-S, LCSW, QS, BCD, RPT™, RST.

Patrick earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in LGBTQ+ Policy and Practice. He brings a dynamic and integrative approach to therapy, drawing from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, bibliotherapy, therapeutic techniques in play and sand, and Vedic psychology.

✨ Beyond his clinical training, Patrick is also a qualified Vedic Meditation Teacher, endorsed by The Veda Center. Since completing his residency in Bali, he has taught over 700 people to meditate, weaving this knowledge into his therapeutic work across inpatient and outpatient settings with children, teens, and adults.

With over a decade of experience as a professional actor, Patrick also offers unique insight into challenges faced by those in creative professions. Currently, he serves as a teaching assistant at the University of Pennsylvania for a pioneering course on consciousness and medicine.

Patrick’s expertise, creativity, and compassionate presence make him a powerful guide for those seeking growth, healing, and deeper self-understanding. 💙

🌟 Meet Dr. Aura Chasteen 🌟

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Aura Chasteen, postdoctoral resident at VonOstir Innovation Services!

Dr. Chasteen earned her Psy.D. in Counseling Psychology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and completed advanced training in rural health psychology in Alaska. With over 20 years in the mental health field—including 13 years as a licensed mortician—she brings deep compassion and unique expertise to her work.

She provides therapy and psychological assessments for individuals 17+, specializing in trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, substance use, neurodivergence, relationship concerns, and gender identity/sexuality.

Dr. Chasteen takes a holistic, person-centered approach, drawing on CBT, DBT skills, solution-focused, and trauma-informed therapies to meet each client’s needs.
