Nutrition was the focus of this month’s free Life Course Group educational class! 🍎🥦

A big thank you to Jamisha Leftwich from the University of North Florida (UNF) for facilitating an engaging and informative session.

Participants gained valuable tips to help reduce hypertension, diabetes, and obesity through an engaging cooking demonstration. They enjoyed a sample of a delicious healthy soup and learned practical strategies to support healthier eating habits and improve overall wellness.

Join us for the next Community-Police Relations Forum on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Florida Barber Institute.
This important forum will continue the conversation on gun violence awareness and prevention, with a focused discussion on the connection between mental health and gun violence. Together, we will create a safe, trusted, and solution-driven space for community members, youth, parents, educators, and public safety partners to share perspectives, ask questions, and explore prevention-centered strategies.
