This is only the beginning

VRESP - virtual respiratory education support program - has been an idea floating around in my brain for a long time. For those that don’t know me, health reasons took me away from being able to work in a full time position, but I may now finally be in a place where I can start to realize this dream. There is a long way to go, a lot of material to be built, and I am only just learning how to utilize my course builder software to its full potential. One day it will be a site with courses that resemble those taken by RT students, with interactive learning modules for every topic. I want students to be able to learn and practice material in a new and different way that will hopefully increase their understanding and help them move through their program. In this new world of COVID 19 and so many students now taken out of the classroom and into a virtual learning environment, I knew that this was the time to make available what I have built so far - even though it isn’t much just yet. It will continue to grow as quickly as my health allows me to produce material. I hope this helps RT students and instructors alike. Although I started to build out and test ABG content late last year, my focus has switched to mechanical ventilation. The first of its series is now posted, so please share this with any RT students that you know - I need their feedback as much as they need content.
