We were honored to welcome Governor Ron DeSantis to Cypress Village today as the host site for a statewide press conference during the 2026 legislative session.

During the event, the Governor highlighted priorities being discussed in Tallahassee, including efforts aimed at providing property tax relief for Florida homeowners and addressing affordability challenges across the state. 

At Cypress Village, we believe our residents should stay connected to the issues shaping the state they call home. Hosting moments like this allows them to witness important statewide announcements firsthand and reflects the vibrant, engaged community that makes our campus such a special place.

Thank you to our residents, local Councilmen, team members, media partners, and community leaders who helped make today a success. We were proud to serve as the setting for an important day in Florida’s legislative conversation.

Happy Healthcare Administrator Week! 💙

This week we’re celebrating the leadership, dedication, and heart behind the scenes that help make our community such a special place to live and work.

A big shoutout to Stephanie Markoski, our Healthcare Administrator, who leads our Skilled Nursing team with incredible professionalism, compassion, and commitment to excellence. Under Stephanie’s leadership, our Skilled Nursing facility continues to provide outstanding care, personalized support, and a warm, welcoming environment for residents and families alike. Her ability to balance clinical excellence with genuine care for people is what truly sets our team apart.

We’d also like to recognize William Rouse, our Assisted Living Director, for the thoughtful leadership he brings to our Assisted Living community. William works closely with residents and staff to ensure daily life is comfortable, engaging, and supportive—helping residents maintain independence while knowing exceptional care is always close by.

Stephanie and William both play an important role in creating the culture of compassion, professionalism, and teamwork that defines our healthcare community.
